PokerStars unveils 'Star Sub' offer, enhancing Euros sports betting experience

(PRESS RELEASE) -- PokerStars is?taking customers closer to the sporting action with the introduction of its ‘Star Sub’ offer.

Launched to coincide with this summer’s European football championships, Star Sub allows a bet placed on selected player-based outcomes to be fulfilled either by the original player or their substitute in the event the player is replaced.

Star Sub is available across a number of qualifying markets, including Anytime Goalscorer, Anytime Assist, To Score or Assist, To be Booked, and To Score or be Shown a Card – bringing a whole new meaning to the ‘Super Sub’ – the label given to a player who salvages a result for their team after entering play as a substitute.

Running for the duration of the European Championships currently taking place in Germany, Star Sub means customers’ bets remain active throughout the course of regular 90-minute betting, even if their original selection is removed from the field of play.
