Americas Cardroom hosts second Twitch Storm on Saturday

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Americas Cardroom is running its second exciting Twitch Storm this weekend. It’s a groundbreaking Twitch raid promotion where anyone tuning in can win $50 every 5 to 15 minutes. The Twitch Storm begins at 12pm ET on Saturday, May 30th and runs for 24 hours straight.

“We’re brewing up something big once again and we’re excited to hand out some big money to random people on Twitch ,” stated Michael Harris, spokesperson for Americas Cardroom. “Our first Twitch Storm was a big success, so whether you’re a content creator or you just like to watch, this is your moment.”

During the 24 hours of the event, as Twitch content creators send their viewers from one streamer to another, Americas Cardroom will hand out $50 to a random viewer every 5-15 minutes in a different channel.

While those watching along have a chance to make some money through the random giveaways, participating content creators will also cash in by increasing their viewership.

Twitch is very popular among the Americas Cardroom poker playing community. During last summer’s $5 Million Venom and last November’s $6 Million Venom, ACR players broadcasted their play on Twitch.

And today, Americas Cardroom hosts The ACR Show on Twitch to showcase tournaments, interesting hands, and other tidbits that players might not be familiar with.

The poker community can look forward to even more Twitch streams this summer when Americas Cardroom hosts its biggest poker tournament ever. The $7 Million Venom gets underway on July 24th and features $1 million for first place.
