I'm leaning toward "negative SEO attack" vs "Google gambling policy" since it's just a few, old, random videos that have received complaints. If it was Google policy enforcement all of our videos would have been flagged, ya? Also, the warnings seem to have stopped, they all happened last weekend.

I am locked out of two of my channels but if they get no more warnings I get them back in a couple of weeks. Fortunately, one of my channels was spared -- only got one warning. So I can still use that channel, I just can't use features like custom thumbnails for 6 months.

My videos get 60% of their views on YouTube through YouTube searches and related video recommendations so I will continue to maintain that channel. However, 40% of my views are of videos embedded on affiliates' news sites. Rather than embed the YouTube versions affiliates should contact me for embed code for my self-hosted videos that are in no danger of being suddenly pulled by YouTube.

Could be unrelated but I was contacted by someone from India looking to help me replace my videos through my facebook page. I strongly suspect this was a neg seo issue, but regardless I think it's clear YT don't like this type of content and will pull it if it gets flagged.

    Hey there,

Sorry to hear about your channels, guys. I'm the creator of Slotozilla.com, and I'm in the same position right now, a few strikes and channel terminated, I had half a million video views and almost 700 videos And the most awful thing is that my channel is connected to my G+ pages, which was terminated as well ( with 5K followers ). Tomorrow, I'm going to call YouTube, hope to fix everything up.

No jokes. I'm very serious about it, and I'm going to reach someone in YouTube support to recover my Channel and G+ page. There is nothing impossible, moreover when I'm pretty much sure it's some kind of direct attack, and not the users flagging my (and other's) videos.

Vimeo or youtube. It is not your hosting, not a difference. You can not demand anythingfrom those guys. It is like everything that is for free, from Facebook to online bitcoin wallet.

Google has its own policies and rules. Can be changed anytime. As any other company that provides something for "free". It is not so big problem to have videos on own server, is not it? I do not want to be annyoing, but this way you can pay another 2K soon...

I lost my youtube account last month too. Three random slot videos was flagged on 21/22 November. I had over 1000 videos made over a 5 year period. Anyone got their account back ?

Nope - after a week of trying I simply got an email saying 'your account will remain closed'. I responded to this saying that I didn't mind if they wanted to keep my account closed, but I needed access to the videos to transfer them to another hosting service. These were all ignored. I think you're sool on this one.

After speaking to Vimeo, who also specifically prohibit gambling videos, I've decided to pull the videos all together, replace them with screen shots and I'll think about it again further down the line once I've taken on the help I'm planning to this year.

I think if you get/buy the PRO plan then you can do the gambling videos .

there seems to be no restrictions for commercial accounts as far as gambling goes ( unlike the basic / free Vimeo )

    Regarding Vimeo:
Firstly I started Slotozilla channel on Vimeo , they flagged it. After I purchased the PRO account they allowed me to post the videos. But a week ago, some lady asked the support, why couldn't she upload videos as we do, and support responded that they will check our account, and now they wanna shut it down

It's never nice to see so much hard work go through the drain. I'm sorry for all those affected. It's the problem of third party property though..
