Is your site speedy enough to rank well?

Hi Guys,

How about your site speeds? Can you share here your Mobile & Desktop loading times in seconds?

You can do this via this url: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/

And please also kindly share your recommendations and experiences (including plugins) for speeding up our sites?

I tested my main site and other high ranking sites through the google page speed tool. It seems that no site was good enough and they all needed work to speed up their loading time

The Google webmaster tools should only be taken as a guide as they are notoriously inaccurate, you're better off using Pingdom or GTmetrix for proper site testing.

all of the deeper tools, pingdom gtmetrix my site runs excellent.. in realtime viewing it runs excellent however google drops points for their 3rd party hosted analytics and other things which cant be tweaked any further.. i have cut real speed down to 0.8 on cached loading..

Great! But the critical thing is if Google cuts point from 3rd party codes, it is not an ethical behaviour! Are you sure? Have you tested the speed by omitting the third part code?

Thanks. Sure there have to be done a lot of work on the sites (including the high-ranking ones) in the internet. I agree with you! But the question is even they are lack of speed, how can they still rank well?

Are you with a reputable hosting company? Sometimes depends on the datacenter location will also play a part.

I agree with your point. But as the top-speed hosting packages are pretty expensive, you have to earn before you invest if you do not have sufficient funds in the beginning.

I have between 90-100 after taking Google's tips. Thing is, I embedded my style.css code into my html file instead. I get better rating but I think it will get slower, as with style.css you cache it. I've read that you should hold it over 90, so atleast I did that

It is not the only factor to rank a website if a website speed is not good visitors will leave the site immediately and your website will not get any visitor.

Yes, that's true. Although I myself can tolerate in waiting for a webpage to load longer than most other people can.

As "Time" is one of the most valuable assets in people's life, sites should load fast!

Please never stop testing your site. Because as long as you add content to your site including images, codes etc. it has to be tested again and again...
