    Lightbulb WP Theme / Monetization / Legal issues

    Hi guys!

    I hope you are all doing good!

    Disclaimer: This might going to be a long post, so get ready

    Object: I'm considering opening a website related to online casinos but I have a lot of question around the idea.
    1. First question/topic: Monetisation/Business model.

    From what I could understand, the main monetisation you guys are using is affiliate marketing.

    So my plan is to register as an affiliate through different program to be affiliate with like 10 casinos and then I will paid display through Google Ads (SEA) to bring the traffic into the website and redirect it to the casinos to earn some commissions.

    My questions are:

    Is this still viable/or possible for someone with not a lot of financial resource to start with? I’m scared of losing a lot of money before finding the right combination of keywords/text ad/etc that converts and is profitable.

    Is anyone using this business model?

    Is there something I’m not understanding behind the mechanics of this business model? Maybe on the acquiring traffic part... you tell me

    2. Second question/topic: WordPress Theme and Webdesign

    I'm looking to buy a premium WordPress theme as I have a really limited experience in building websites (I can get my head around html/CSS though, so I can personalise a bit some elements, buttons, colors, etc).

    For this part I'm looking to get the best theme, it must look like the one that this casino review website Casinopedia.org use (this website is basically what I have in mind to create for my project, so there it is if you needed an example , but with less resource obv lol).

    So if you have any idea on a theme you might have saw or heard of that look like this, help a brother out

    I already have the colours scheme I want to use (gradient pink to dark blue), (for all newbies like me, I really recommend https://coolors.co/ to pick up colours schemes, its the BEST and free) so I don’t really mind the existing colours of the theme.

    3. Third question/topic: Legal issues and Reglementations

    I'm looking to launch this website in a non-English speaking country (my native country). There is obviously some law regulating online casinos game and advertising.

    Has anyone experienced with other countries and the local regulations?

    (shoot me a PM, I can tell you where I’m from. I have questions around advertising casino affiliate websites on Google and legal issues).

    Make sure that your target country is not on the Google Adwords banned list, other than that I'm not an Adwords pro.

    These guys are based in Greece and do custom sites as well: Poka Theme and PSDGator.
