What pirated games are you talking about???

We are sourcing all games from either the software provider's demo servers or from operators demo servers. As far as we are aware these are the most legit sources.

Please explain what you mean and/or give examples of games you have questions about.

Quick question - how are you guys handling the UK changes in regards to games and advertising "appealing to Children"?

I think not. We've had a discussion with ASA and for example in case of Jack & the Beanstalk removing just Jack was definitely not enough.

We leave it up to the affiliates if they want to import and publish these games or not.

These games remain in our database, anyone can import them via the WP plugin. However the decision whether they keep it published or remove it, it's up to the website owner.

Hey Imre

Are you importing the games graphics directly from the software provider?

The reason I ask is because there is a big list of Microgaming games for example that are on the border where microgaming is making changes to logo etc. and operators are being told to remove such graphics from UK facing marketing. So if your plugin is still showing the non compliant graphics you're risking operators getting fined due to your product.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
Yes, we normally take the game thumbnails from the provider's site or an operator and add it to our cdn.
The affiliates also have the option to swap this image to their own on their site (by uploading a game post featured image).

Could you perhaps point me to the direction of this games list so we can make the necessary updates to these image assets?

I also have a question relating to the changes in the UK. A lot of casinos are now changing, so that you have to be logged in to play these terrible slot machines that have 50 million children in the UK hooked on gambling.

How will this affect your plugin? If these games are hid behind log in, will these games still be available?

Hi mickyfu,

This will not affect our plugin much. We provide a piece of software that webmasters can utilize to build a website.
How they use it and the way they comply with local regulations towards the affiliate programs they are in partnership with is entirely up to the affiliates. We are not responsible for the content published on affiliate's website, the website owner is.

Having said that we are making changes to help accommodate regulatory changes for affiliates who use our software.

If more demo games become locked down behind logins that will surely limit the game selection the plugin can offer for markets such as the UK that faces this challenge. If this comes into effect we will try to come up with a solution.

Hello, did you have html 5 games to import at site or only flash games?
If my site with https can i use plugin (all iframes should be https too to work well)?

Most of the latest releases in the past 2 years are HTML5 games.
All games should work on https (our demo sites are secure too so you can test).

Is your site down for good? I am getting a 502 error. Wanted to login and check which sites I have the plugin on as I have to deactivate them all for compliance.

If its down for good then its actually no problem as the games aren't loading. Just don't want to get whacked for providing free demo games in the UK.

Its actually back up now and I managed to deactivate all the sites.
