    Default William Hill Adding a Negative 'Bonus' to Account (RESOLVED)

    I know a lot of people have had issues with WH in the past but in fariness to them, hey have always been a goof brand for me until the last couple of months.

    My account has been generating revenue for years but for May and June they have added a 'bonus' onto the account which is wiping out the revenue e.g. €1000 revenue generated for May, -€1000 bonus added for May. total payment due = €0

    This is only happening on the William Hill International part of the account, the UK side is fine. I have spoken to my AM and she has said that the account is UK facing and it was a glitch when switching over to the Income Assess platform, however, I have always received international commission in the past.

    I've now asked 3 times for her to show me where it is stated in the T&Cs that I am not entitied to any 'International' commissions but she isn't responding.

    Has anybody else encountered anything similar with William Hill of late?

    I just checked my account, we don't do a lot international but the revenue does appear to be showing up. Hope you get it sorted as they should pay you both.

    Thanks. The revenue is showing on ours still, but at the end of each of the past two months they have manually adjusted it. My AM has also said she has altered the account so only UK revenue is generated, but I'm still seeing international commission.

    We've been negative on international revenue since the migration but are due a payout this month so will keep an eye on that in case they add a negative manual bonus. Thanks for flagging it up.

    Same, been negative all the time for international, but I do have decent international turnover. Of course they should be paying. I just logged in and had to accept some new terms. Maybe they already changed terms to reflect this, not that it matters. The terms are worthless as they just change them at will, which would not be legal. The terms may as well not exist. So the relationship is just based on trust: lol.

    We have not seen the issue you are having and no one else has reported it yet, but I did reach out to WH to clarify "not qualifying for international commissions".

    A quick update on this - I spoke to my AM last week who first tried to claim the 'bonus' was added onto the account as a result of negative carryover, which was incorect. Then they said that I was not entitled to International commissions from this month forward, but she would be happy to add it onto the account (despite it being on there for the past 7 years).

    It was left with her saying she will look into further and adjust the 'bonus' that was manually added for the months of April and May and adjust the account accordingly.

    In addition to this, I have now stopped seeing International commission for this month, so they have basically taken away International commission from me from August and moving forwards until the account is altered again.

    So the crooks at William Hill have simply stolen referred players and commission from you (and no doubt all affiliates ultimately) at a whim. Corrupt thieving scum.

    My WH revenue shows a flat zero in all columns this month. Not negative, not positive, just 0.00

    Revenue has been 5-10% of what it was before they moved, so I'm guessing this account is finally done.

    **** Hill are complete crooks,just because :

    - they steal anytime , they do some buying of a smaller bookie.

    - everyone remebers the 5 % cut off , when MR. Green was boght - they lost me just becauase of that.

    - long time ago I used to have an amazing affiliate manager - Lehel Mekra. He was and is a very good and serious guy. Actually the only guy who has been responsive and helpful.

    - on the other hand their change anything , any single day an you can not trust them anymore ( speaking about Internationall traffic, not Uk one).

    Just skip them and even do not say " Hi" to them on conference, once they come back to live

    Final update on this - there is now an invoice generated for the outstanding balance. Anybody who does still promote WH I would urge you to check your account for anything similar to this issue, the best way is to look at your payment history and see if there is anything negative in the 'bonus' column.

    I may have misunderstood this, but it seems to me that they are only paying commission on UK traffic and not International traffic? Why would they be doing this?

    That's correct. They were claiming international traffic commission wasn't to be paid on the account and it was a mistake when they transferred to Income Assess. However, I've had the account 7+ years and always received international traffic commission.

    They didn't notify me of this I only found out when I realised they were cancelling the revenue generated from May and June by manually adding a negative bonus to the international part of the account.

    I can now confirm all payments owed have been paid by William Hill and the issue is resolved. My AM managed to get to the bottom of the issue and sort it out so fair enough. They've been a great brand for me over the years in fairness so glad this is all sorted!
