Why I closed my affiliate account with C planet

C planet just happens to be one of those casinos that doesnt convert for me. Their minimum payment of $200 to affiliates while maintaining negative balances means I will never see a penny. The support is rather ****** ( better when Ben was there ) and lets face it, The casino is not all that and a bag of chips and the affiliate program is going down hill. Take it from someone in the business 10 years now. Get your money and close shop. Promote someone else.

Hello,
We are sorry to see you go, however, in our defence, you sent us one email at 7pm regarding a mid-month payment below the $200 min threshold. The email was answered the following morning at 9am. C-Planet does not have negative carryover and are one of the only programs in our market (left) that doesn't bundle between brands. Additionally, we have always paid out our partners in full despite any issues in our market where many other programs either closed shop, withheld payments, or entered a myriad of unethical practices. That said, I think our record is pretty clean. Closing a month and paying above a $200 threshold is fair and accepted standard industry wide. These terms have been on C-Planet since the beginning.

Chris, I don't normally disagree with you...but I guess there is always a first time

I have to stick up for C Planet in this instance...
I have also been in the business for 10 years and have been promoting their brands for as long as I can remember, and whilst I also don't agree with the $200.00 minimum - I personally have never had a problem with them in all other aspects.
Their casinos do convert for me, I have always been paid on time, my players have always been paid on time to the best of my knowledge and support responds to my queries very quickly.
I am certainly not one of the big affiliates either, so its not a case of looking after me due to big earnings..in fact many months I don't even make the minimum payment threshold, but yet they still treat me as though I was making thousands with them.

only by a few days, i also find they CS so be good also,

Recently they have been going through some changes of management, which did cause a little confusion, but now they have overcome this.

As for $200 threshold, from my experience 95% of casinos out there have this as there minimum.

I would recommend them to anyone.

I am looking back on things now and it is important that trusted webmasters like yourselves will stick up for them. Perhaps I will have a second look.

As for $200 threshold, from my experience 95% of casinos out there have this as there minimum.

Perhaps this is true but sometimes that $190 in an affiliate account could really come in handy and maybe thats why I was a little upset with their min payment.

I agree with you on minimums. If I added up all the earnings from all the programs I promote that I can't get because they are not close enough to the minimum payments I would have a nice month. I believe $50 is fair. I could sure use all that money. Now with losing all my US players I will probably never see some of that money.

$200 is the absolute maximum I will accept from a program (for the minimum payment threshold) and still promote them.

I agree that I think $50 is much more reasonable and I sympathise with those that say that the $190 would come in handy when you log in and see it sitting there but then you can't touch it.

I have often run into these situations and at times the programs will work with you a little when you are really close and miss the mark by a few bucks, but I also understand there are times when it is impossible for them to do so.

The absolute best solution is if the programs could lower the threshold and make their programs even more attractive to small affiliates (and therefore ALL affiliates).
