Default Why is it GPWA wont force the removal of a seal

This is in reference to my post in unethical behaviour section, and I am just curious as to why the GPWA has not yet done anything about Casino Affiliate Share who promote Cleopatra's Palace Casino and Royal Sands Casino displaying a seal. They should not have one and as expressed on other sites until they start paying people should be blacklisted.

The new Affiliate Manager their doesnt seem to want to push the program in the right path, and is afraid of being fired if she pushes her bosses to do the right thing.

Just my case alone 1 year waiting for payment and then they give me a false tracking number for the wire transfer says they are starting to act very unethical. Not to mention other affiliates they are ripping off as well.

Its simple force them to remove the gpwa logo they have, if they dont like being accused of ripping people off, re-adjust the way the treat players and affiliates and pay on time. Surely that isn't alot to ask.

GPWA can you answer please, why something has not been done as yet about there seal please.

If i write a standard post for people to copy and paste with my permission would GPWA allow me to post it here so people can post it on all sites they know to get the word out for SEO purposes.... If they are in google alot for non payment players will soon stop and new affiliates will be well warned.

Well if the GPWA can't do anything what is the point in having the approval process. If they can't do anything then anyone could just place up a seal and ignore posts like mine.

I am not being rude, i just don't understand thats all.

When taking on a sponsor, couldn't the right contracts/agreements in place give GPWA legal rights if a program is no longer paying for their sponsorship but continues to carry the GPWA seal?

So lets say you have a contract with legal rights - and this entity is based in some offshore location - how are the GPWA going to enforce the removal of a seal for instance if the company is based in Belize . I would say it is far more effective to highlight the matter here ,stating that these places are carrying seals they do not deserve . I am also pretty sure that the GPWA would have been in contact with these people - i might be wrong here , they might not be doing anything , but from experience i think they would be at least contacing these people, they are a very solid bunch of people who do try and facilitate things. Sometimes though its just not possible to talk with programs- witness what affiliates went through with Grand Prive debacle.

Sorry Jamie just saw your response now - i know you are not being rude and i am not also - just exchanging views and ideas , i think that is what the GPWA is about , facilitating communication and ideas between webmasters , sure its a business as well and has costs and so probably charges programs to be on it , how much power it has though is in direct relation to the ethics of the company i would say. What can be done as per my previous post is to highlight these issues to GPWA members to ensure that no one is promoting these venues until they toe the line. If a program wants to turn rogue and fleece everyone there is nothing or no one in the world that is going to stop them from doing it - The GPWA , APCW , CAP and various other places have a interest in making these places known and utilising their collective power to ensure us webmasters know about these issues. I know that a lot of time is spent dealing with programs , i used to deal with the GPWA in a previous role and it is both time consuming and sometimes very difficult. Lets give them a chance to respond though to see what they are doing

One thing to note is when you click to verify it produces a 404 here. If they had displayed the seal properly, (Having GPWA host it) it would already be gone. Now it comes down to the GPWA communicating with them and getting the seal removed as they chose to host the image. Never the less, it needs to be gone.

As they aren't sponsors and it isn't authorised I am sure GPWA are on this for the sake of their own brand reputation and sales - I am sure this isn't a case of "won't" but as someone says there is only a certain amount of legal strength you have when dealing with an off shore company

    My guess is

GPWA has already sent a warning
2nd They will send this again but to higher management with exactly what will happen if they don't remove it
3rdly They will use their strength as a brand and their lists to make sure everyone knows this group is using the seal illegally and can't be trusted which will do so much more damage than the positives they got from the fake seal

Just let GPWA know about this and they will go for it - For example post in GPWA suggestions not the chatter box as they can't monitor every thread

I hadn't seen the comments where this was reported until seeing this just now. Sorry it took so long to catch this -- I really appreciate your bringing it to our attention.

To give a little background, this is actually a little worse in regards to Casino Affiliate Share's behavior than it looks on the surface. They were formerly a sponsor until we kicked them out in July based on violations of the code of conduct (see announcement here). At the time that we kicked them out, they did remove the seal. I don't recall whether the removal at that point was because it had been installed as authorized and therefore automatically turned off when we kicked them out, or whether it had been hardcoded on their site and they manually removed it -- but at the time when the relationship was ended, it was removed.

Since we were no longer working together, I had not gone back to look at their site. Sometime between when we kicked them out and when Jamie discovered the issue, they added the seal back to their site without requesting permission or notifying us of the use. It's not just a matter of them forgetting to remove it -- it is that they specifically did the work to add it back in after we had revoked privileges to use it and severed the relationship. I'm now sending a note demanding removal.

    Default Contact information

Hi just a quick update in the last 12 hours, Casino Affiliate Share have contacted me with out saying who it is. Stating the funds have been sent. I still have not received it, and will beleave it when i see the funds. I spoke with my bank and some money has come into the country under the business media corp, not sure if that is their business name or not.

But i sent emails to the following email addresses i have for them, and also contacted real time gaming which must have had enough effect to make them contact me.

Anyone owed money use the following email addresses for this company one of them is their hosting provider which also could have had some sort of impact.

    [email protected] - Domain Owner

    [email protected] - Hosting contact

I also sent emails to the following and sent them 3 times a day until they responded:

    [email protected]

    [email protected]

    [email protected]

[email protected] - New Affiliate Manager

[email protected] - - New Affiliate Manager

[email protected] - Marketing company that owns Casino Affiliate Share

[email protected] - Marketing company that owns Casino Affiliate Share

    [email protected] Software Provider

[email protected] - He might help you. I have permision to post his email.

Apart from Glen i do not care if i am acting unethical posting these email addresses, I personally don't beleave I am as i am informing others who have been ripped off by this group methods to get in contact with them.

If i get my money then great, but these guys will never get another player from me ever again. Unprofessional, Stupid lying cowards. They need to be shut down.

I have also been lead to beleave that the new affiliate manager named Christy isn't new. Just a change of name thats all, but that is only what i got told from someone who use to work for this Scam company. Don't trust them!!!

Thank you City Guard, could you keep us updated i will watch there website for the removal.

sometimes seeing the seal makes it easier to signup so if they are not a sponsor this will be too misleading

Sorry to hear you guys are having problems with this lame bunch. I made a post back in Sep 09 at AGD warning affiliates to be cautious with this outfit.

    Brief update on this:
I did not receive an email reply to the notice I sent demanding removal of the image, but I have reviewed the websites and the seal has been removed.
