Default What's A Sensible Rate For Content Writer?

I'm trying to get some opinions on what rate per word I should be asking for.

I'm a native English content writer with six years of experience working for some of the biggest casino affiliate sites online, but looking to branch out.

Has the market changed since I was last actively looking for new business about three years ago? I'd value your advice.

    Thanks,
    Arthur

Best of luck on your new direction. The cost of a good writer varies. A couple of years ago, I would contract writers that spoke decent English (95%) for $8-10 per blog post. Now, we occasionally contract out some content writing. The price of a mid-range writer is about 1-15 per very well written and interesting article.
The best writers make sticky content that players are looking for. Honestly, I don't even know how to do that. Those guys can charge a decent amount. They are more researchers than standard writers. I've heard of certain writers getting 200-300 per page. The page would include an infogram, and superior content. I've seen in a few times.

    Best of luck!

    Hi Arthur,

For MindysMegaSlots we pay ? per slot review, and for CasinoReviews365 and CasinoNews365 we pay ? per review/article.

    Hope that helps!

Well, thanks for the input and PM's, it looks like $0.03 per word is the going rate, so anyone looking for quality content from an experienced writer feel free to contact me.

    Thanks Again,
    Arthur

Do you have any blogs that I could take a look at, for a sample of your articles?
