Default What % of Traffic Value Converts?

Tools like Semrush and Ahrefs give a traffic value for sites. This is estimated search clicks * CPC for the keywords on PPC.

For eGaming affiliates, what is normal conversion rate of traffic value to rev share?

Depends on the KW and your content quality, calls to action, and the brands you advertise.

    KWs

"Medium Tail" to "Long Tail" keywords can convert better in smaller numbers than a trophy money term like "online casinos".

Example: "online casinos ireland maestro accepted" - though a much smaller volume, if your content clearly suggests casinos that fit this description, there's a good chance you'll get a signup or two, possibly a depositor.

    Content Quality

Your content should match what the user is seeking, IOW, it should be relevant! If someone has landed on your page looking for "Premier League tips" and you list tips for Swiss Football instead, they're going to bounce in short order.

So ranking isn't necessarily enough for a conversion alone.

    Calls to Action

Remind your visitors to click, signup, deposit, etc. Of course, you must do so sparingly and strategically. But don't forget to ask to act. This will affect your conversions.

    Brands

Who you advertise matters to an extent. Visitors might be more comfortable with some brands than others, unless they are purposely looking for "new" or "smaller" operators.

Note also that many in Europe have Bet365 accounts the same way most have flown a major airline. It's counterintuitive, but getting a new Bet365 depositor might be harder than a lesser-known brand depending on the keyword.

That exception might be acquiring "new" gamblers, who often flock to trusted names while they familiarize themselves with the industry.

    Conclusion

All that being said, take the SEMRush and Ahrefs figures with a pinch of salt. They're a rough estimate that can vary. Also, just because people are willing to pay a lot of money for a KW, doesn't mean it's a good investment.

I would certainly prioritize high traffic, high converting KWs over all others, while at the same time testing what others work for your particular website and business model.

Tools like Semrush and Ahrefs estimate traffic value by search clicks multiplied by CPC. For eGaming affiliates, conversion rates from traffic value to revenue share typically range from 2-5%.

It depends on the page. Rankings and listings of legal casinos have a higher conversion rate than guidelines or even match predictions. Typically it's about 2% for the whole page (including rankings, lists, guidelines, tips, etc.)
