What is the importance of a completely unique theme for SEO and Traffic?

Have you built any website with the completely customized theme?

Is only a paid theme would be enough? Or should we spend much more money by hiring a web developer for a fully customised theme?

And have you observed the differences between them?

I started with a theme then spent a few thousand customizing it making it much more functional to work with and improved for conversions

"Will we need a completely unique theme from the scratch?".

Unique for the visitor sure if you change the design, mine is unique in the fact i built a lot more control into the site, where i can add and remove thousands of CTA's automatically, everything has been setup to geo target, i have added and removed design zones, added in extra tool for the visitor to use so it's unique, I could have probably built from scratch for a similar price but as i have 1500+ pages already indexed i needed minimum downtime as possible so this was the safest way

How do you find having 3 languages on there works for ranking and users? Do you target the separate URLS to different countries?

I have only just started the other languages, still more to go.. there is also separate geo targting on the english site.. although the other langs are still small they are bringing in decent sized players 2018 I will be focusing more on that side

Do you use the same reviews (eg bet365 casino) but one in English and then translated to Spanish on the /es review?

Hi, this is what I do with all of my casinos, and in every language possible. It really makes a very big difference in attracting more new customers and increasing your traffic too

Yes, but that's changing.. The style of reviews are completely different per language so will be changing it up a little.. the UK reviews come across personal whereas an Italian review style is more direct.

Short answer - Personally I would use a set theme and then look at customising it if required.

Slightly longer answer - What matters most is the content not the theme, customised or otherwise, I do affiliate marketing as a personal side business for fun, but also happen to own and manage two design businesses as well.

We have created websites for start ups to big multi national corporates and whether you choose to go customised or set template depends on your budget, user requirements and target market. The biggest mistake clients make is not getting the content right, the theme used is secondary and whilst an attractive layout is a definite plus, whether it is unique or not makes next to no difference if the content is not engaging to your market.

From what I saw throw the years, google makes no difference between a theme, a partial modified theme, or a project from scratch.

With partial or from scratch project the only improvement you can see is that if you know what you are doing you will have a higher CR%, the user will be more satisfied and a better website speed. Also this things lead to better rankings.
