I received this email from jackpot-games.com as a player of theirs today;

Dear Customer,

We are contacting you today to inform you that Jackpot Games will be stopping its operations. The set date is 31st of March, at which point the website will be taken down. Therefore we strongly recommend that you request withdrawals of your remaining funds as soon as possible.

Should you not be able to withdraw your funds before the 31st of March, Jackpot-Games will return them to the account you used to make your last deposit.

Please note that due to the high volume of withdrawal requests being anticipated, it may take more than 48hrs for your funds to show on your account. LGA have been informed and they will be monitoring all remaining funds post 31st March 2011 ensuring all payments have been processed.

We thank you for your loyalty towards Jackpot Games and do not hesitate to contact us if you require further info.

There is indeed a clear notice on their homepage pertaining to that. Unfortunately when I clicked on Read More nothing happened.

Hi all,

As some of you have rightly pointed out, Jackpot Games is closing its doors on the 31st of March.

It is with regret that the directors have come to this decision, but with the industry facing constant regulatory change and the associated costs, they could not see a return on investment from the casino over the short and long term.

Let me stress the company is not bankrupt but is making a business decision to limit losses. All outstanding player payouts will be honoured after appropriate security checks have been completed. An announcement to affiliates will be made shortly here and to the email addresses of our partners.

I will be in touch again soon with more, but players and affiliates alike can contact me here or on [email protected] should they have any questions.

Finally, I would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused and I would personally like to thank the GPWA, the community here and all our active affiliates for their efforts while Jackpot Games was in operation.

Hi again,

Further to the closure announcement: the board has decided that all affiliate earnings above a threshold of 10 EUR, whether carried forwarded from previous months or earned during March, will be completed by the 31st of this month. The affiliate program will remain accessible until then, so please login soon to get any information you want to record.

No action will need to be taken by partners to claim earnings.

Please note that any traffic sent to the casino now will not earn any commission - the sign up form and games have been disabled. Please adjust your banners and website(s) accordingly.

Finally, please pass this information on to the forums at CAP. They immediately deleted our presence on the site upon the closure announcement, taking away our medium to the community during this difficult time. Thanks.
