If it looks good, but doesn't have the specs an affiliate needs, I won't buy it.

I too will be interested in the functionality of the site as I am not technically gifted in Wordpress.
Anything that helps build a site quickly is a benefit as long as it has the necessary features you mention that affiliates need.

Same here (i'm not a technical wonder)

Functionality is even more important to me than how it looks ad functionality will be the thing that either saves me time either will cost me time.

I won't buy anyway 'till I've played a bit with a demo. I saw more than enough nice looking themes than in the backend aren't worth their money...

I'm expecting a lot of this theme. It looks great and I hope the backend functionalities are great too!
