Telegram Channels

Hello guys.

What do you think about having a Telegram channel to share news and information about your websites?

We think is a good way to immediately share news with customers, have a direct relationship with them, but is very related with how trending is Telegram right now in your target market. Good thing about Telegram is that you can have almost limitless groups, very easy to communicate and have all the necessary administration tools.

Some ideas for a Telegram Channel would be like live announcements of very good games playing right now, new promotions of the sites we promote.

Telegram is definitely one of those platforms thats great for connecting and coordinating with other members. As you mentioned, it is quite easy to use and communicate with and has all the tools necessary to administer and lead some great conversations in the industry.

It's incredibly popular amongst many blockchain/cryptocurrency related groups and businesses. With the rise in integration of blockchain and iGaming, i'd say it's worth the time setting it up for your websites.

Yeap, the advertising in Telegram works very well.

And it's definitely profitable and it would be great for users to get updated info about bonuses and etc.

Also currently there are no additional rules for ads (opposite to Facebook or Instagram), and there are many real users/subscribers.

So it should look great.

I don't do Telegram groups or any of that, but as a communications platform, it is GREAT!

It allows for chat as well as voice calls across the net so speaking with others in any part of the world works good, and you no longer have to pay high phone fees or extra charges on your regular bill to add specific countries etc.

Since it also has a web page you can use, it makes it easy to share links with others etc

And Zuckerberg doesn't own it.

I work on Telegram only with my team for 4-5 years. Skype became unusable by the time.

Frontend is exactly like whatsapp but instead of green color is blue.

I like that it works even with switched off mobile phone unlike WA. Recently they added video calls and they are better than skype/wa/googla calls. They are Russians, so it is a relatively free country, when compared to Europe or even worse USA and generally I do not care which data Putin collects.

I am just a passive member of some groups, I would never do social marketing now, too painful to talk to normal people. Everyone is lately switching to Telegram, I believe it will be nr.1 instant messenger.

However they also resell data. For sure when something is written there, like cat - you can be sure you will see cat food ads everywhere. And now I will come with a conspiracy, but I am nearly sure Telegram is doing it. They do not spy only on written keywords, but they spy also on the speech. Many times I was not writing some specific topic, I was just saying it laud offline with my computer/mobile phone next to me. E.g. special things like "Cushing syndrome" and immediatelly I saw ads aimed at that special term. It could be some other app sniffing, but I suspect most the Telegram.

But whatever, it is a great platform, just when it is free you are the product.

Telegram has become one of the main communication tools for us as a team, and also one of the best way to communicate with players.

We run channels per language (EN/ES/RU) and we also have a community to solve problems. Is much faster than Whatsapp, very stable, bots are useful, there are polls, it looks nice, etc. I particularly like how it works with the searching function (which is impossible to use in Skype) and history.

There are 3rd party database tools for Skype, but obviously built-in is better.

Yes I forgot we use bots for things like... blocking bots, that is done semi-automatically. For example when Digital Ocean comes with new IPs we are reminded via telegram bot, review the new IPs and most likely block it.

Also worth of mention that Telegram collected I think 2 billions for new crypto product aka decentralised Telegram. There was a hype around it, I thought it can be something interesting. Story short: The product failed. Money disappeared.

I own over 50 opted in channels across whatsapp and telegram pushing sports betting tips and offers and they convert very good. Obviously Telegram isn't has popular as whatsapp at the moment but it is still a very useful tool and another good thing about telegram over whatsapp is that when I user joins, they can see everything that's been posted previously, unlike when you join a whatsapp group and you've just got a blank screen in front of you until someone posts a message.

Telegram as a channel is good, as a group (where everybody can post nonsense) I don't see the value of it.

Problem with telegram joins, is it exposes phone numbers

In addition, if notifications are enabled, do you want to hear posts on S/A time if you are on Eastern Standard Time?

Their export really has some flaws, sure it works, but when the export is done, the chats are #1, #2, #3, #4 and now you have to go in to each one to determine which ones are which.

BUT: As a communications piece for speaking with people anywhere on the planet, I think it is great. And "zuck" or "bill" doesn't own it.

I want to use it as a communication channel for sharing tips and tricks about sports betting and from that perspective it sounds good I think.

Also nice that Zuck and Bill doesn't own it.

I find it really hard getting Telegram followers. No idea why as its a great tool nowadays.
