Question Social Networking is Effective SEO

Posting your web site(s) as a member of a Social Networking community is just another way to build quality backlinks. My favorites are blurty.com, esnips.com and christianguestbook.com. Any other good Social Networking sites that allow casino postings with no nofollow attribute in the html?

When combined with Search Engine Optimization, social bookmarking can be the key to success of online marketing campaigns. Social bookmarking has emerged as an effective tool for providing back links and getting higher traffic, which in turn help in securing better Search Engine Rankings. Bookmarks represent links through tagging. Apart from providing SEO benefits, social bookmarking can be a very good marketing tool in itself.

Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Hubpage, Digg including Multiply is on the top of the list right now. If you know how to play via their application like Facebook, well you're working good in terms of promotion. Although most of SN sites are no longer dofollow, somehow you can gain traffic from it.

Default Social Marketing and its effectiveness in Online Gambling

I have found a very good article in a blog on: social marketing and its effectiveness in online gambling

Social media has developed to be the next big thing all over the internet. Using Twitter, Face book and a wide variety of websites not only help people to be in touch with one another but also help in determining marketing success. These days, the social media has grown to be a platform that ensures marketing success of online casino businesses across the globe. The social media world received a huge boost with the introduction of Face book and Twitter. For the online casino fans, the social media websites became the huge platform to connect with one another and to share ideas. Most online casino service providers are making use of these applications with an aim to keep fans updated of their promotions.
Whether it is about offering updates about latest promotions or any kind of special offers, the online casinos bring you all details that indirectly lead to their own success. Using their own accounts on Face book or Twitter, the online casino operators provide players with an exclusive line of bonuses.
With passing times, more and more casinos online are considering to install social media applications in their own sites. This can be an ideal way to get in touch with new players and to invite them at table. Making way for their own players to numerous events put on offer, the online casinos make use of social media tools to offer a great means to build a good customer base in the web.
The social media tools that the online casino vendors are planning to use will help players to get more each time. Players at the gaming sites will be able to comment on the individual bets and also to maintain a fine friend list. Similar to the very way the Face book works, the online gambling sites are moving forward to create a whole new social universe in which players will be able to interact.

Has anyone has success building links through social networking? Quicksilver Games are not on social networks yet, I am not convinced this strategy will be worthwhile, but I can be persuaded...

I try to social bookmark all the new posts on my website and we have a facebook and twitter page, i am doing the social bookmarking for almost a month. so i still need to wait a bit to see if it will give me some traffic or back-link.

Is it still wise to also add your site to directory's?

or is it just a waste of time.

    Have a nice weekend all.

Out there are millions of Social websites , Google really value only few of them and that is Twitter , Digg , Delicious and facebook.

Most of the rest is a waste of time.

I truly believe that Google will devalue all Social Bookmarking links soon, as Social Bookmarking has been the latest source for SPAM. I think it will be valued similar to Blogs, Forums, Directories, etc.

I'm not a huge fan of social bookmarking. Although the concept is great, for me it's just another thing that attracts spam - and we need more of that

However I disagree that Google approaches all blogs, forums and directories with the same size fits all approach.

If that was the case, new threads from the GPWA would not be indexed in under 30 min. And my blog posts would certainly not be indexed and sitting in Google in under 10 minutes from posting.

Google's a funny beast. You think you have it sewn up, it then does a complete back flip, leaving you shaking your head and asking What Tha

Dofollow links are valued by webmasters because they do get crawled by search engines.

But in the eye of a visitor a link is a link... and Why people started linking to each others website? It was all for information.

So in a visitors eye a dofollow or a nofollow is the same. -> My opinion

    Anyone agree/disagree?

I am of the opinion that Google actively likes to see social bookmarks as part of a varied SEO campaign. I have used it as part of my link strategy since i started and it has worked for me!

Social Networking as well as bookmarking sites help in bringing a lot of traffic to the target website. Thus, in a way it backs up SEO works. SEs do consider the total inflow of customers in your website and thus affects your SE ranking.

Its a long term game - SEO
Daily I face clients who are looking for instant results in this space. If it was this easy, every Tom, Dick and Harry would have been Internet millionaire.

SEO is not a short-term strategy, It is surely not a one time deal. It’s on-going efforts that drives users and success to your site.

Social bookmarking and article submission should drive some traffic to your site. Both of them are great source of traffic with article submission converting more than bookmarking. However, this traffic will be instant and short lived. For long term traffic, you will need to continue your link building. Just one time article submisison and social bookmarking will not rank any site well for competitive terms. Do some of the link building yourself and keep building links as much as you can. Most people fail or give up because they dont stick with it. SEO is a long term game and you need to have patience if you want to see some result.

I do know that it is education issue.
