TheCappersForum.com domain, forum software, and Twitter page @TheCappersForum is for sale.
TCF has been operating since 2005, over 17 years. The forum caters to serious sports handicappers. I built the forum for sports betting enthusiast that understands there is an art to sports handicapping. TCF has weathered the test of time. The average life of a sports forum is 3.5 years, TCF has been ongoing since 2005. Although traffic has slowed since social media has taken off, it still gets a core user. Unlike Social Media and other sports forums who has a high turnover of users, TCF has a core set of users who have been on the forum for over a decade. The Twitter page, which relays the picks from the forum acts as an introduction to the forum. Many users who view the Twitter picks will inevitably find themselves using the forum directly.
Marketing:
You can market the forum for sportsbooks, handicappers, businesses that specialize in the gambling market, or any market. Being sports betting centric it can provide consistent revenue from sportsbooks or other gambling-centric businesses. If they seek people who bet on sports. TCF can provide a stream of potential players and like-minded sports bettors. In reality, you can market the forum in many different directions all knowing you have an audience who has money as a centric to the theme of the forum's topic and mission. Personally, I market to offshore (US) books, but it’s not limited to offshore someone can market to US-facing books as well.
Traffic:
Most of TheCappersForum.com is North American (US & Canada). The sites receive over 10k visitors (organic and unique) per month. Till now the forum has been US faced, with the NFL and College Basketball seemingly being the most popular sports for handicapping and wagering. The forum still gets good views throughout the year, from the NFL to the MLB season. This traffic gives a year-round opportunity to market and acquire a betting-orientated clientele.
Why am I selling it?
I have owned and run the forum for over 17 years. I have incorporated Twitter into the business. I’m confident that there is more to explore. Other markets someone can incorporate like stateside sportsbooks (DraftKings, MGM, Fanduel etc.). I believe someone with better social media skills on sites like Facebook, Reddit, and Discord could incorporate TCF and TCF Twitter into them and expand on this successful business. I just believe it’s time for me to step down and let the forum grow with fresh new ideas. Over the years I have made a nice income from TCF, made some friends, and met the resident Professional Handicappers that helps the forums succeed.
What does the include?
The Forum, software, and Domain name.
The corresponding Twitter page, all graphics, Passwords, and codes to the supplement
services to make the forum and Twitter work together. Basically, everything that has made
The website so successful over the years. My support and help as needed for the transition.
Currently, there are six months of hosting paid for with HostPaPa.
