Default question about greek traffic. any reps here that can help?

hello everyone, there is something i need to clear out, i dont market to greece, just to make that clear, as apparently its against bet365 policy

but people from greece do come to my website, im assuming through google or word of mouth. if they click on a bet365 banner or link it obviously takes them to bet365.com, were they get a message to visit bet365.gr instead

if they then go to bet365.gr and sign up, do i still get the signup?

The same applies to bet365.es and bet365.dk.

I asked them the same and they told me to focus on other markets wtf#1
The problem is that the .com tracker has and had still signups from the countries wtf#2
So I changed the tracker... now 50% of traffic goes to .com and 50% to .gr .es .dk and guess what wtf #3 even from those links I get signups.

But truly this has to be clarified. Since except Bulgary even Bet365 links inside administration are .com's while both .com and national tld's seems to be working. If you look at Alexa stats, both have significant traffic.

What I can say is that Bet365 does not try to steal, but there is indeed some chaos. And in case the bet365.gr, bet365.dk and bet365.es is the right one, then the banners must be adjusted accordingly, because there is no way to change url inside the banners!

the problem here is that cookies (and affiliate cookies) are not tracked across domains

so it is a question for you in Greece if there is some redirect bet365.com -> bet365.gr during registration process

    plz try it

i wanted to pay some Greek on fiverr so you save me 5 bucks, thx

still a bit confused by what you are saying here, are you saying that you get signups from .gr .es and .dk links?

    Hi,

I am just wanting to clear the confusion over the information presented
within this thread. If you are using Spanish or Danish tracking links to
send traffic to bet365 you do not need to alter them in anyway. These links
will continue to send players to the .com site where they will be redirected
to the appropriate site, either .es or .dk depending on what IP address is
    recognised.

Another issue that bet365 would like to clear up for affiliates benefit is
regarding Greece and Greek players. Currently it is not permitted for
affiliates to promote bet365.gr on any website or to promote any of bet365's
    products to Greek players.

If you would like any more information please let me know.

    Alex

I am sorry for the confusion. Therefore I will cease opertaion in Greece and continue .es and .dk.

Thanks michalakis for the offer, anyways.

thank you for clearing things up alex but the truth is i knew already that we cant promote to greece

    that was not my question

greek players come to our websites even though we dont promote to greece, and do click on our links. i advertise my website in different countries but not to greece, but greek players do still come to my website, in the last few days i've had 5-6 new members on my site from greece even though i do not advertise there

my question is what happens then? we still send signups to bet365, shouldnt we get the credit?

Why does a yes or no question need to ONLY be answered in email?

All Romanian affiliates need to know the answer of my question. I s not a personal question.
