    Default Qestion about seo and translation

    I have a small question regarding my Swiss website, which is still not generating many visits. I don't quite understand why, but I'm wondering if it might be because my site is only in French. Indeed, in Switzerland, there are three languages: French, German, and Italian.

    Would it be wise to translate the site into the other two languages? The issue is that I can't find a plugin, apart from Weglot, but it's paid and quite expensive; the price depends on the number of words translated. Other plugins rely on Google translation, which isn't really great.

    Also, doing a translation with a subdomain for each language seems impossible and very time-consuming for me, as I only speak French and English. Do you have a solution? A reasonably priced plugin that could automatically do the job with quality translation?

    haven't ever really done any translations of websites myself. but perhaps you can check of some of the things on the gpts store? They can do pretty good, context-aware text translations. How to implement that into translating a website - hopefully there will be someone who can give good advice on that.

    I think you should definitely add German and Italian languages.

    There is no ideal solution. My company produce high-quality localisation services, but that can be quite costly for the entire site.

    if you go for a cheap option, there is no way it will be of good quality.

    Even if that is against my better judgement, you could try using Google Translate for the entire site. See whether the pages are starting to rank in those languages and then hire experienced native speakers with iGaming experience to improve those pages. But, that, too, could ultimately prove costly.

    As always content is here the key factor, you better use AI for translation and some native speaker who can to proof reading for you but that is only content, additionally you will need strong link building + tech should be fine too

    This is solid advice. Personally, I don't trust plugins that automatically translate (I can be a bit obsessive about it, I admit) and cheap options rarely offer good quality.

    I think you can use Google Translate, as Roman suggests, because it will also help you test your hypothesis that having your site only in frech is affecting the number of visits. Then, if you do indeed get better results, you can look for experienced writers, translators or proofreaders. It doesn't have to be super expensive; here in the forum, some seasoned writers have offered their services at excellent prices for packages or limited time. You can check out the "other marketing offers" subforum to get an idea of their rates and decide if it would work for you.
