    Angry Purple Lounge - site not available? something seriously amiss?

    Any news on whats happened to this site?

    Cant access / log in etc. Fear that it something is seriously amiss.

    Would appreciate comments and feedback as have a key client their with cash and live event packages at stake.

    ONLINE poker and casino website PurpleLounge.com has been pulled offline by parent company Media Corp. The short-notice move by the company happened when it became, “…clear that the Purple Lounge is trading materially behind the same period of the previous financial year which will result in increased losses for the division and, as a result, the Company as a whole,?according to a trading statement issued by the company on Friday.

    FYI - just received an email news update from egaming review. I cant access the content as I am not subscribed to EGR, but their headline tells the story:
    "Legal threat closes Purple Lounge: Media Corp subsidiary temporarily closes egaming site ?blames publicity generated by litigation brought by CD Casino.com."

    As someone who has worked very closely with Microgaming, this comes as no surprise.
    Purple Lounge were as at the level of Eurolinx in rakeback, huge rake races, deposit bonuses and affiliate deals. They were kindly escorted off the MG network due to constant violation of MG Ts&Cs. The move to Entraction was nothing but postponing the end.
    The sad fact is you cannot run a poker site on a network without a very strong financial back.
