Default Pokerstars to enter online gambling & sportsbook mkt in Europe!!

I thought this was incredibly interesting and for some of us, predictable...Stars appears to be prepping to enter the online casino and sportsbook market in Europe. Should be interesting to see how they compete with the household brand publicly owned companies in this sector!

The article just says stars sent out a questionnaire asking people about their gambling habits outside of poker, hardly conclusive proof that they're going to be launching their own sportsbook/casino.
Though wouldn't surprise me if they do, they have a massive player base.

Well I imagine that PokerStars could easily purchase a "plug-n-play" casino product and manage that.

But they had better be getting in a lot of expertise in the sport betting side if they expect to compete - and I would expect that the sportsbook would be a loss leader for at least 2-3 years until they built a customer base.

European sports betting is a very competitive industry - with lots of established brands that have decades of experience.

Who did they ask? I haven't received a questionnaire and I'm a Stars member.
