Default Pinnaclesports affiliates also can fraud

About year ago throw my site I found very big player - one like all others together from my 7-years work. So this player began gambling - lose usually and sometimes win so I liked him and Pin paid my work. Recently he had big wins so my account is in big minus, I was sure it is not a problem and all will turn back soon,
and beggining of september was good but
I got email from Irene Zwols <[email protected]>, where she inform me that they "moved player VBxxxxxx to %volume commission in accordance with our Affiliate Terms & Conditions as this player poses a risk of an unrecoverable large negative balance".</[email protected]>
my objections was not changed the decision.

explanation: so they allow him to win a lot and after that only take him from me (%volume commission is nothing)
I think there are two goals of this decision:
    1) not to pay when my player will lose (like freeroll for them) for this they even ready to stop our 7-years partnership that de facto took place.
    2) if I'm fool I can send new traffic free and try to comeback with plenty of small players.

so now I have account with huge negative impossible to comeback and information for all who think about pinnaclesports as honest company. this will be only until u will have something worth to take off.

That is quite nasty, sorry to hear that.

I think it has something to do with a policy where they want big players @ hot/cold.

My account was whole hot/cold with one huge player who was big winner. They always paid for him the % commission and they even allowed me to move small players under revenue share. The big winner continues to win and small players lose and I get it all. So I consider them honest.

But what they did to you is nasty.

update: got email from "Phil Hudson, Acquisitions Manager at Pinnacle Sports", where he confirms there are no mistake with that decision.
of course no because in the stats is see that player lose a lot, very very much, like think will be.
So they take a lot of money from him and give nothing except of huge negative account, nice work guys!

What the end of this story? A very big player lost finally, made a few huge deposits and your balance is negative again?

sometimes 0.30% payouts doesnt cover 1.2% credit card deposit fees....

I read this totally different. We have one Pinnacle account with a few million (per month) turnover which is volume based. For 16 of the 17 months Pinn have lost to this account. As agents/brokers we can take a position of upto 60%, but it doesn't work with such accounts!

The above is to protect you, and guarantee some income!

Pinny changed the deal for that one player to volume % because that guarantees you'll get back to positive sooner or later.

They helped you. They did something that's in your best interest.

My only objection with Pinny is that they have neg carryover, which I personally consider a predatory term regardless of the name of the company that uses it.

How about casino players in pinnacle? An occasional player could win a big amount in casino, and it will ruin your 0.30% earnings from sports
Did u see lucky casino winners in Pinnacle?

No expert on Pinnacle as we are in the uk and more so into horse racing.

I can see DiverF1's gripe however.

"so now I have account with huge negative impossible to comeback"

My own take may be that it is one of inconsiderate switch over timing by pinnacle.

eg lets say they had delayed such a decission till said big player lost his winnings.

Gripe level would be considerably reduced.

Or what if they backdated the decission to before his big win?

Doing that belatedly even to wipe said big negative balance
would keep the affiliate sweetish with clear hope of some imminant future earnings.

Things like consideration and a sense of fairness I think are qualities valued and appreciated by affiliates.

They roll into increased trust and then resulting higher levels of future promotional activity for operators higher up the trust scale.

I do't think I would categorise this one under fraud.

Inconsiderate, uncaring and not long term forward thinking perhaps.

I wouldn't hold my breath but it would be nice if this thread ended
with DiverF1 confirming that a senior affiliate manager at pinnacle
had reviewed the timing date of this shift and as a result had decided to over rule more junior staff
to alter the date to one not so demotivational to the promoter in question [ or to others reading this thread ]

That's the sort of outcome that would boost pinnacle several notches up the trust ladder.
Fair, honerable and cosiderate. Hard to find qualities all webmasters ideally want to see
in those they put maximum levels of future effort towards.

    Cheers
    Mick

I just found out that pinnacle is deducting negative commission from the affiliate account.

E.g. I had netto balance at affiliate account 1200 in Sept. Then some casino winner came and now I have withdrawable commission 100. Probably legal, but pretty weird. Not sure if they did it before.
