I have seen some sites completely strip their unique reviews/content about bet365 and just have a few generic lines on there. Not sure anyone knows what is actually happening at the minute with them.

Well the least you can expect some sort of e-mail before freezing your account cant you? ...

Anyone here got approved already? If so, can you show us what you did? Are you adding a link straight to the respective bonus offer´s t&c or is it enough to paste the complete bonus t&c on the respective page?!

I am considering changing any current review pages or Bet365 specific pages to offering a very simple personal opinion.
"It is my personal opinion that Bet365 is the absolute worst place a player could visit and create a new account to gamble online."

Anyone have any updates on this? They have closed my account as well and I don't even advertise off my website - replied to all emails in time and correctly. Is this legal?

Hello
Im having the same issue over here, i can't seem to login to my affiliate account even though i complied with all their previous emails on time and gave them links to my websites and social media pages. I run couple of tipster sites and i do occasionally challenges and they said in one of their last update emails " Affiliates that provide tips as part of their services must not encourage individuals to repeatedly reinvest winnings as part of their tipping services "
Does this mean i can't do anymore challenges? I saw two of the biggest Facebook tipsters (Bad Man & Geordie Tipster) withdrew all their bet365 promotions from all their recent posts. Could it be that they know something us small/Medium tipster don't? Since for me i just removed the 200 offer and added T&C applied + Gamble responsible 18+ next to my link and i got suspended for it?
Also, does anyone know if we will still get paid for this suspended period? I had 2000 in commission this month so far i would really hate for it disappear.
Its getting really frustrating lately to promote for them.
Thanks for your help

These are neccessary changes that all major operators are being forced to address.
The earlier comment was correct; the rules and regulations haven't changed too much and we were all very lenient. The UKGC now have a new head and, as we have all seen, they are taking every chance to make examples of non-compliant advertising. This is the new landscape in which we will all have to operate for UK traffic.
From the point of view of 365, it's very much going to be Risk v Reward scenario. With such a massive programme with partners all over the globe how do they effectively manage their partners. With fines running into the millions, does any operator really want to risk that because of the actions of some guy half way across the globe who sends 2 players a month but who just hasn't been bothered to raise thier game and play by the rules? From that sense, 365's actions make perfrect sense. It's inconvenient to be shut down but if they sort this all out then at least you all have a programme to go back to.
There is an upside for affiliates too, for those that can hold on and see this through.....
No longer can operators turn a blind eye to their marketing partners. You are essentially employed by us now. The guidelines are very clear on this; when I contract you to do business then you are a part of my brand and reponsible for my gambling license. I've known plenty of shady campaigns that got waved through and payed each month just because they delivered 200 or 300 FTDs each month guaranteed. At worst you told your boss they got a slap on the wrist and don't do that again. Well that simply will not cut-it any more.
If you're not prepared to jump through some hoops then you'll be gone - no matter how many players you were driving.... because the Risk v Reward just isn't worth it for a ?Million fine.
It is certainly harder for the smaller affiliate to make all these changes, respond quickly especially when all programmes are asking for you to do or not do all types of things.
Those that are left when the dust settles should expect a much healthier industry.

Guys
how I must suppose to understand to how I must write or to find out who is my manager to help me unlock my account?
I am working with 365 more than 6 year without any issues, I am following all rules super strictly - and now without knowing my account is locked.
I just want to know what happened and where I did it wrong to take a note. All emails where I receive, I am following their rules on level.
What I should do now?

It's crazy to see how many accounts 365 has just suspended without notice. Just goes to show no affiliate is safe with any bookie.
I agree with your writeup, but what I quoted is a nonsense.
Yes, we are now defacto whores of affiliate programs and bookies, at least in the UK, but the list of countries will be expanded. Still I bet most of affiliate guys do this job because they do not want to be employees of corporations that are being pushed by some central authority.
I do not know how much I am an exception, but I never worked for anyone and of course it is not my goal. Even for me it is risk vs. reward, as for anyone. The reward for UK traffic is going down. Too much stress, too much work for my team and affiliates that can blatantly steal and no one gives a ****.
I am not saying I quit with UK, but I will just let it go. As soon as there will be unlicensed operators (and yes, they will be, even if at .onion), I will jump on that boat.
The market is becoming dead. I expect just final fuckoff when affiliates will need their own gambling licence and that will be it.
I am not complaining, it is just the zeitgeist, things change as you say, but they do not change in favor of affiliates. And it is not stopping now. There will be more and more restrictions.
... and btw. this is all joke of course from the POV of gamblers. They will still ruin themselves. But this charade is just another impotent game of political correctness, which should show to masses how common people are being protected, while the opposite is true. We - the affiliates and usually normal people - who were promised lifetime deals, see the game clearly.
For example if people are so stupid that they buy tips, they will do another stupid things in future. Because they are stupid and desperate and they want to do stupid things. The more are people "protected", the more stupid and naive they are. The more they feel the false security, the more dangerously they behave, because they think "everything will be ok and the big brother will take care".
I am not surprised and now even upset, just sad that Europe will end like this. But no, this will not create anything healthy. Players will not be happier and affiliates, who never wanted to be employed by anyone, will certainly not be happy as well. So please refrain from this corporate bullshit that your employers impose on you. Working as a slave for PLC corp does not make anyone happy. Just everyone has to pretend it. And it is a big difference.

How does it affect the social media side of advertising?
I will advertise by adding a shortened URL on the end of a post with text like "bet here ->" or "back this selection here->", is this fine? Or is the "bet here" text not allowed? Its a really weird thing to understand because not everybody advertises in the same way.
It's a shame that these rules were not brought in slower or earlier in my opinion. Growth has been hard for me and I put a significant portion of that to playing by the rules and keeping the site honest.
I randomly met a fellow affiliate in real life that ran a facebook page before they Facebook got strict. He would often run challenges and posts bets after they had won, edited bet slips, and deleted losing tips. All whilst boasting a hugely faked P/L and gaining followers by the handful.
It was a tempting route for me as I could utilise the experience of this guy if I wanted to, in order to make a quick buck, but I didn't. Earnings from people losing bets has always been a quandary to me ethically, and do grow by blatant lying and false advertising didn't sit well with me.
Just as my site and earnings looked to be on the rise the closure of a number of programs and accounts has dropped it back to a hobby rather than a business and I wonder how much growth honest sites would have had in a cleaner affiliate landscape.
For now I'm treating the website as a hobby and have unpublished almost all bookmaker references except a few links and logos. Sign ups were never great and hopefully it will help me through this compliance landscape to see a side where the grass is greener or the world is scorched earth.
What a nightmare!
I responded to a e-mail late September that I confirmed that I will obey the guidelinies etc. Affilaite manager gets back : Everything is okey!
Suddenly my account gets suspended on 24th October like many other affiliates. Wrote a couple of e-mails to aff-manager : No answer (they normally gets back within a working day). Now Iam gettng worried.... Finally answer today. They send some e-mail on the 5th October that I homehow missed.
Sendt new e-mail that I confirm new rules, websites, channels etc. now.
What I get form the aff-managers answer is that they are working through the e-mails and it will take some time. I can already see many affiliates payment geeting late next month because of frozen accounts Very frustrating. Cant even log-in to check stats and see how this month is going
