    Depending on what affiliate software is being used, you can create a different campaign ID for each individual link you use at the various different places where the links will be placed.

    Many anti-virus and ant-malware programs do not like "post back" anyway.

    Personally, I visit any website of my own free will, but I have no intention of visiting sites that need a post back from my browser they can't get using normal code etc in their pages, and I think any kind of post back from email mailers is just plain wrong....

    Most everything a website owner needs to know about the visitor is already easily captured from the browser session, a post back can be taken advantage of, which is why some software alerts to them.

    99% of those send me promotional emailers do not have permission to do so, and those that use a post back method to determine the email addresses of emails opened have stepped over the line even after they sent the first spam.
