Hello,
How you track conversions (registration, ftp) when use adwords, fb ads, and other ppc networks ? special tracking system?
Depending on what affiliate software is being used, you can create a different campaign ID for each individual link you use at the various different places where the links will be placed.

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!
For example "Netrefer". Netrefer don't have postback/pixel...
Many anti-virus and ant-malware programs do not like "post back" anyway.
Personally, I visit any website of my own free will, but I have no intention of visiting sites that need a post back from my browser they can't get using normal code etc in their pages, and I think any kind of post back from email mailers is just plain wrong....
Most everything a website owner needs to know about the visitor is already easily captured from the browser session, a post back can be taken advantage of, which is why some software alerts to them.
99% of those send me promotional emailers do not have permission to do so, and those that use a post back method to determine the email addresses of emails opened have stepped over the line even after they sent the first spam.
