Default Need Wordpress plugin to enhance PageSpeed?

    Hi,
As per testing in Google PageSpeed page I find it's super hard to improve from 60 to 80 points for mobile.

    Now I use these plugins:
    - LiteSpeed cache
    - Smush (optimize image)

Do you have any suggestion of Wordpress plugin to enhance pagespeed.

I use Autoptimize. Also, you can easily increase your pagespeed by using a lightweight theme.

If you can use webp images or reduce the size of your images to the exact dimensions that they will be on your post/page, then that can help as well.

Not sure if a single wordpress plugin really is the best way to improve your website speed. I personally made quite good experiences with WP Rocket but to get the best results i really needed my developers. Besides that in the beginning i completly underestimated how important a fast wordpress hoster is. Maybe you should have a look at wp engine and some others. Since i am focussing on Germany only, i moved to Raidboxes and since then have fantastic results no plugin could deliver.

I know many people who are using Autoptimize but it seems not good for my kind of host (reseller)
That's why I choose Litespeed. I also have other website hosted on VPS and use
Autoptimize and I can say it works really well. So I think it depend on the server you use.

I use Hawkhost cause that one is cheap and the quality is still Okay. This is the first time I heard Raidboxes host provider. Since it good for wordpress so I will try it for my PBN websites.

Wordpress speed issues come about from one or more of these 3 most common reasons. (there could be others but the ones below are the most common)

    #1 Slow hosting
#2 Heavy images (images too large and need to be reduced)
#3 Too many plugins causing more queries then necessary

If #1 is your problem, that needs to be addressed no matter what other issues need conquered.

Conquering #2, or at least looking at the image sizes used is good to do even if fixing #1 has already provided a nice speed boost, has the potential to reduce loading time even more.

#3 If there is a possibility of already having too many plugins, adding another may possibly make matters worse.

Take a close look at the plugins you currently use and see if there are instances where one plugin will do the job of multiple plugins, and decide if they are all absolutely necessary or if there are html answers that might possibly remove the need for any of them.

Completely Agree with these points... Try to avoid using multiple plugin and try to customize the theme for minor changes to avoid plugins. Cache plugins can help but main issues like image sizes, page rendering, css load time can't be avoided so you may need wordpress experts to fix these issue.

With page speed/caching plugins, everyone has their own favourite I guess. I'd suggest to use Autoptimize with Async Javascript - and maybe a Caching plugin on top of that.

Unless your host/server is using litespeed, then the WP plugin wont work. Optimising images 1'st (graphics software) is far better. My page speeds always amount to @ least 90. But mostly 95+ (mobile or desktop).

Then again I use a very small number of plugins (on average 5), and have a fast server.

Us old timers probably hold a advantage, back to the time when, internet was 56K modems or less. Back then (even though there was no page-speed scaling) you had to make sure your images and coding were SMALL.

If you really need some plugin in some part of your website (for example vegas hero casino games plugin) but you do not use it on every site of your page you can unload on selected pages by using plugin called "Asset cleanup" it has helped me since i have video popup plugin / review plugin / games plugin that i really like but do not use at the main landing page so it was hurting the page speed so now those plugin load only when they are needed

Autoptimize / Hummingbird depending on the site. Used to have wp-rocket in the past but created some issues so removed it.

This plugin will only let you know what to fix it is not the cure. Is that right?

I feel that image optimization is very important to improve page speed.

In addition, plugins such as slideshow plugins and Contact Form may be slowing down your page speed.

For this reason, we recommend the Plugin Load Filter, which allows you to enable or disable plugins on a page-by-page basis.

If you are able to detect plugins that have a high load on page display, try using the above.

I don’t think the plugin is needed here. First of all, you need to look at and optimize the site code. Google clearly shows what changes need to be made. Reduce image weight, reduce server response, and more ..
