Hmm, thats the second time i see all these great benefits promoted without telling us there are quotas/limits to get the benefits !

Don´t get me wrong i like Moneybookers very much, and i love my security key and my Mastercard. But i had to pay for it myself, it was not free for me since i don´t send 10+ new active accounts a month (120+ a year lol please) to get these benefits free.

Honestly, if i would ever send 120+ new active accounts to Moneybookers a year, i would expect more than 20% share, and not all the things you talk about as that should be standard in the first place.

Before i signed up for the affiliate program i just used the referral program which gave me the exact same as now, allthoug i had to answer a million silly questions and whatnot to become an affiliate (with no benefits as i see it).

Again i like Moneybookers very much, but please just tell affiliates what we get and what we don´t get !

I have none of these benefits, and i should just have saved the time and effort and carried on using the referral program since the links were even the same too

We've never wanted to mislead affiliates about what they can get, or cannot get. That is why the link to the full list of benefits, alongside the requirements to unlock them is placed in my previous post. I beg you to understand, though, that there need to be certain criteria for unlocking the different benefits.

I'm happy to see that you appreciate the convenience and safety these features bring. Please note that neither you need to send 10+ new active accounts per month, nor 120+ in total for the year to get a free security token and Moneybookers Prepaid MasterCard. As soon as an affiliate of ours makes 5 or more account activations within 1 month - it is eligible for these benefits. Once again - you can take a look at our newly introduced benefit package here.

I completely agree with you that the application process for our affiliate programme needed to be simplified. With the launch of our new affiliate programme website, we introduced a new sign-up form, too. Now there is just a one-sheet form that affiliates need to fill out.
Our affiliate programme ensures assistance for affiliates in all they might need to promote Moneybookers (whether it is a custom made banner, content, or something else), and while using our payments service for their business needs. These characteristics alongside the benefit package mentioned, differentiate it from the refer a friend programme.

Have you tried to contact us about any of those benefits until now? As already clarified there are requirements to be met, but for example - the removal of transaction limits is not a benefit bound to player referrals. You just need to provide the necessary verification documents. If this would be helpful for you - please let me know.

Also - please do not ever hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns about the programme.

Hey Rossen. Thanks for your reply and explanations

I see the quotas/limits are now visible and puplic, so why not just list them in this post ? And that was not listed anywhere when i signed up for the affiliate program.

Since I paid for the security key + Mastercard myself, i actually need to send 15 active accounts a month to get further benefits, and considering that we only get commissions for 1 year @ 20%, and Moneybookers also act as gambling affiliate in newsletters (Yes, i saw that !), then I don´t see the kicker for me in this deal. So I made very little or no effort at all to send extra players to Moneybookers.

And yes, I did ask about it when you had to grant my account with "affiliate status" (It still shows as personal account when i sign in.) You just mentioned something about the 10 active players !

I am glad for new affiliates that the application process should be better now. Regarding the banners: I gave you a specific URL for a banner and asked to get approval to use it, but you just referred to the moneybookers page with banner collections. So took that as a yes

Regarding transaction Limits: Well, I kind of figured the limits would be raised if needed, since there can´t be many more documents to ask for, you guys have the same documents my land based bank have

Also, I don´t have questions or concerns as such, I am 100% satisfied with my personal Moneybookers account, safety and support etc. for years, zero problems. But the affiliate program offers no benefits for me, i am sorry to say.

I truly believe I understand your point.
It is true that our affiliate programme cannot be measured in terms of revenue share, against those of poker rooms, which pay a percentage of the rake. As a payment provider we do only charge fees, when people deposit. However, again - as a payment provider - we do not compete with the poker rooms you promote, or the bookmakers/casinos other affiliates do promote. That is why we emerge as an independent possibility for earning more, on top of what your are currently making. So - as you help and advise people on where to play, you can also advise them on how to pay. The additional revenue share, together with the different possible Moneybookers account benefits for affiliates, are the direct profit from our programme.
However, truth is that Moneybookers account holders convert and redeposit easier, - you yourself said that you are very satisfied with our payment service. So a community which uses Moneybookers, will eventually have higher conversion and redeposit rates with gaming operators. I would name this as the passive profit, from promoting us.

I guess the details of why and why not participate, could be well enough extended from what we mentioned in these few posts. But in general - isn't the quality of the service one of the most important KPIs you would look for, when referring your members to a merchant? Would you not think that if you advise your members to use Moneybookers, they will also enjoy a fast, reliable and cost-efficient payment service?
Yes, some may find the programme more beneficial than others. But even yourself, who doesn't view it as beneficial, would agree that it's:
1. Good for your people, purely as a service.
2. Can only be positive, when you start making referrals.

Hopefully, I have at least changed your mind about us trying to mislead affiliates. Believe me - we are working hard to improve every day, but our intention has and will always be, to have clear and open co-operation with affiliates.

Rossen, I also understand everything you write, many good points etc. but I don´t see all the things the same way. I don´t just bend down and start promoting something as a service because it´s good and whatnot, when the terms are not in my favor so to speak.

Here is an example:
Pokerstars is the biggest online poker site in the world, they are considered very safe, have good support and i am 100% satisfied with my "player account" but i will never promote them. And you may ask why ? They don´t have terms and commissions in my favor (i believe), so they are not on my sites !

I could say around the same about Fulltilt, second largest, good for players etc etc. But do i promote them ? NO, they have terms and commissions that are not in my favor (to put it lightly).

I guess we all feel strongly about what we work with and believe in

See i have a rakeback site, players get (for example) 35% of their rake/fees back every day, win/win sitution ! It´s very easy, it´s very conveient it´s 100% safe, secure and approved by the rooms we work with, and rakeback payments are paid directly into the players poker accounts.

So, I am sure we can both agree that all players would be best off with a rakeback deal, since they cannot lose here. Good, lol this is a great business opportunity for Moneybookers ! Why not send all Moneybookers costumers to RakebackSafe.com because it´s good for people and as a service ?

Or, we can pay 20% of what RakebackSafe.com earn on your players for a whole year !! Hurry Up signup now (lol) !
Send 5+ players in a month, and get a special landing page !
Send 15+ players a month, and earn 25% !
Send 30+ player in a month, and get your own free fully costumized rakeback site on a subdomain (Example: rakeback.moneybookers.com) with support and everything !

Do we have a deal ? See what i mean ? lol, I will stop now, we gotta have a little fun
