    Default Moneybookers Affiliate Program

    Hi everyone,

I’m delighted to announce that our affiliate program is here! In a nutshell, our affiliate program allows you as an affiliate to get two referral payments per one customer. All you need to do is promoting Moneybookers, or one if it’s many supported local payment options, as the preferred payment option where your referral will deposit.

Moneybookers is an online payment system, – so we want to make sure you see us as an additional revenue stream which does not cannibalize any traffic on your site but rather make the existent one even more valuable.

Your revenue share, - 20% from transaction fees, will be credited daily to your account. This includes all non-gaming related activities, like your customers topping up their Skype balance or shopping online. You can access your funds instantly with the Moneybookers MasterCard?prepaid card at any ATM, too.

Whether your players are punters, poker players or casino players, Moneybookers provides them with a FREE eWallet, which they can use to upload and withdraw funds to their accounts instantly with only an email address and password. Moneybookers combines the best security measures with the lowest fees and is accepted by virtually all online gaming operators.

I am available for any info regarding the program, and most of all - for our mutually beneficial cooperation.

Wish you all have great months ahead!

My email: [email protected] & skype: rossenyordanov

Do you also offer a sub-affiliate program?

Do you accept US based affiliates (better to ask I figure)

Is the prepaid debit card available for US Affiliates to recieve their commissions?

    Hi Rick,

    1) We cannot legally accept US affiliates

    2) Currently the Moneybookers Prepaid MasterCard is available only to EU residents.

Your first question is pretty much a tailored solution that is why it is relevant to discuss via e-mail.

Well, either you are gonna accept US Affiliates or you are not....

If you claim in your terms as well as all other public areas that you do NOT take US Affiliates, and yet you continue on to make "private deals" in email and such with US Affiliates, the additional risk a US based affiliate then takes on is GREATLY increased since if there is even a hint of any kind of issue with that affiliate, or you decide to have a bad day or the affiliate gets their affiliate manager frustrated for any reason then the terms and conditions can be used against said affiliate and their commissions could be withheld....

No need to hide the answers to ANY of these questions in emails...

If the official stance is No US Affiliates, then that is how we will discuss your program....and if that is what will be in your terms....then there should be NO private deals with US Affiliates....

    Hi Rick,

    Thank you for your input.

Obviously I didn't express myself as clear as possible.

What may be a subject of discussion is a sub-affiliate deal. What may and will not be a subject of such is the fact that we cannot accept US-based affiliates as per now.

Therefore we will not tend to use this or anything else as an obscure tool for not following our obligations to our partnering affiliates.

If you have any other questions - please do not hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to help accordingly.

    Best,

    Rossen

It sounds like we're talking with a robot, Rossen. I've found the same weird feeling in my other talks with you. Is marketing your main job?

Default Why being a Moneybookers affiliate?

    Why, really?
    <o></o>
Apart from sharing revenue with its affiliates Moneybookers gives certain exclusive benefits to you which I will cover later in the post. First let’s have a look at the less obvious advantages that being a Moneybookers affiliate goes with.
    <o></o>
<!--[if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->Promoting an eWallet alongside your operators is practically completing the cycle of referring ?you are helping players out on where to play, and additionally ?on how to pay.
It just makes sense. More services, more value.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->Convincing your players of having a Moneybookers account increases your conversion rate to operators. How? Once a player has his eWallet set up - he’s having practically no problems converting in the future - no problems with approval rates, etc. Not to mention in this case you are receiving commission from 2 independent sides ?from the particular operator and from us!
<!--[if !supportLists]-->3. <!--[endif]-->Moneybookers is a leading eWallet provider, currently named Payments Company of the Year at the annual EGR B2B Awards. Partnering with us, you are partnering with the industry-leading company.
    <o></o>
Now what we give exclusively to affiliates is a service facilitating online business activities as easy as possible, and practically for free. Specific benefits for you might include:
    <o></o>
<!--[if !supportLists]-->? <!--[endif]-->Multi-currency account for affiliates to avoid FX fees. You can choose from 41 different currencies to increase your flexibility and decrease costs dramatically.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->? <!--[endif]-->Free send money (incl. rake-back) for affiliates (to customers; to sub-affiliates). The ability to send money for free alongside the multi-currency account is an easy tool for making bulk-payments at no cost.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->? <!--[endif]-->No transaction limits ?providing you with the freedom to facilitate all your financial activities without borders.
    <o></o>
Read more next week on why Moneybookers is great to recommend to your players.

All the benefits may be fine, Rossen, but the bottom line is that until you sort out the atrocious customer service then we're going to find it difficult to recommend people to you. The complaints we'd get as a result of Moneybookers terrible service would lead to too many complaints.

    Hi FictionNet,

I am curious to understand what you are talking about - terrible service (and which other major competitor is better than we are in CS). If you compare us to neteller or paypal I am positive you will prefer Moneybookers. Is there a personal thing involved here?

So far none of our affiliates has had issues with this- on the contrary- they are happy to get paid every day, and most of them even refer VIPs since they know they are well taken care of at Moneybookers.

How many users do you currently have?

    Hi, Mathias

I'm talking about when ANYTHING goes wrong. Have you seen how long it takes to get a reply from Moneybookers? It takes DAYS to get a response! NETeller or PayPal would never wait this long.

I've given up trying to telephone Moneybookers. Whoever I end up speaking to can hardly understand a word I'm saying and vice versa. Their advise is usually next to useless.

re: " If you compare us to neteller or paypal I am positive you will prefer Moneybookers"

Wrong. I'd say you're just as bad as NETeller in many ways and far worse in others. At least with NETeller, their staff speak decent English and their replies come fast, not several days after you've contacted them.

Looks like you had bad experiences. I have checked us and our competitors services and can't share your judgement.
Bear in mind: 3 people go in the same movie but see a different film all together
However- I agree: When CS gets involved some things have gone wrong already.

Still, this is meant to discuss how to optimize cooperation and one can always work on customer service (which we do). Are there other areas you like or dislike?

Cheers for your input, the CS issue is noted

Well, I'm not surprised you disagree - you work for MB!

I can only go on my own experiences. Whenever I've tried to deal with MB via e-mail, the service is painfully slow. Whenever I've contacted them via telephone, it's been like pulling teeth. I can't really say it much clearer than that.

I'm sure from your own end you can see how long it takes to reply to customers enquiries via your contact form. It takes days. That HAS to be addressed. NETeller even have a LiveChat facility. You could implement one of those.

I'm trying to be fair. Yeah, there are a few things I like at MB but there's nothing that I can't get just as easily at NETeller.

Whilst I can't really comment on the Moneybookers customer service because I haven't had the need to contact them, if it is indeed similar to NETeller than I can explain a bit further. The CS people appear to cut and paste standard answers (hence the robot comment earlier, maybe) that don't really answer the questions. I think it may be a training issue. I have phrased the same question a few ways and received the same incorrect answer. It negates the human aspect and is more useless than automated responses because we, the customers, expect a human answer.

And please, if you go with live chat at some point, train them even more. Let them say things like, "I'm not sure and will have to check" rather than making up some answer which is obviously not correct. Just make sure they do follow up with the answer.

Consistency is also important. Too many times I have spoken with CS people from the same place and had to provide different information for the same thing, or received different answers. That is just a frustrating. Again, I believe it is a training issue.

So, whilst I'm not saying the above affects Moneybookers, although Rob probably thinks so, they are a few points to note from a user's perspective.
    James
