Default Manchester City and Paddy Power renew betting partnership

Manchester City is pleased to announce the renewal of their deal with Paddy Power as the Club’s Official Betting Partner for the UK, Ireland and Italy.

For the last two years, Manchester City and Paddy Power have successfully worked together to provide fans with innovative betting products along with club specific offers.

As part of the two year extension, which runs until the end of the 2014/2015 season, Paddy Power will seek to deliver a tailored online service to Manchester City supporters through a combination of industry leading offers and exclusive bets around key fixtures during the season.

Throughout the partnership both parties will also aim to develop exclusive marketing opportunities by leveraging contractual access to first-team players for promotional activities and the use of hospitality offerings at the Etihad Stadium.

Commenting on the partnership, Tom Glick, Chief Commercial and Operating Officer for Manchester City Football Club, said:

“We’re pleased to continue to be working with Paddy Power to provide City fans with more excitement as they follow the club they love.”

Paddy Power, company spokesman, added: “Working with Manchester City and their passionate fan base over the last two seasons has been brilliant and we’re excited about continuing to provide them with unbeatable value, as well some great entertainment throughout the season.”

    Luke,

Is there any plan to provide a mechanism where affiliates can pull Manchester City and/or Arsenal specific banners from your affiliate backend?

As we cover both teams regularly in football previews - it would be useful ...

However the PaddyPower affiliate backend is so bad when it comes to banner management that I can barely find an updated football banner in the correct size - let alone find any team specific content at present ....

    Regards,
    Paul.

Hi Paul - this wasn't something that we had planned to do as it hadn't crossed our mind that there would be a demand for this - I will check if this is something that we're allowed to do.

Agree with you that the backend does need a bit of a clean-up although the football banners should all be up to date for the 2013 season. The flash banners that we'd recommend using can be found in any of the categories prefixed "Bet50-Football" and if you are looking for .gifs these are now available in the "Sportsbook-Mobile" category. If there are particular sizes that you are looking for please let me know and I can ensure these are available and direct you to them.
