Angry Lucky Jar Affiliates - Closure of Lucky Jar - Losing All Players in Process!!

Just got this today. Lucky Jar have been doing a ? no deposit bonus promotion for Lucky Pants Bingo getting some very good exposure. Not sure if I understand this correctly but it sounds like they may not be paying for players on rev share deals??

    Dear Affiliate Partner,

As you are probably aware, Stride Gaming was acquired by the Rank Group in October last year, over the last twelve months a great deal of work has taken place and the Lucky Jar brands will soon be moving to Rank Affiliates.

As part of this change, the Lucky Jar Affiliate Program will close, and the brands will move to NetRefer joining Rank Affiliates.

While Lucky Jar is closing, this is an extremely exciting time as this move will bring with it many benefits, including
    • All the Lucky Jar and Rank brands in one place
    • Enhanced reporting functionality
    • Improved payment process
    • Greater technical capabilities
    • Best in class marketing tools and material

The move to Rank Affiliates will take place on the 01st of March 2021, from this date Lucky Jar will close. We will send you communication one week prior to the move to confirm the dates. If you already have an account with Rank Affiliates you will be able to access the Lucky Jar brands from there, if not, you can apply to join through https://w**.rankaffiliates.com/register/

To help answer any questions you may have, please read through the following Q&As.

What will happen to my tracking and creative?
New marketing tools will be available on Rank Affiliates ahead of the migration, ready to change over from the 1st of March 2021.

Will I need to open new Rank account?
Yes, please sign up through https://w**.rankaffiliates.com/register/

What will happen to my commission?
    • All CPA and revenue share commission generated up to the date of Lucky Jar closing will be paid.
    • All existing CPA agreements will be honoured once you open a new Rank Affiliates account.
    • Unless communicated prior to the closure, historic revenue share customers will not be migrated to Rank Affiliates. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.

    Who will manage my account?
There will be no changes to the team and their contact details will remain the same.

Will the Terms & Conditions change?
Yes, the Lucky Jar and Rank Affiliates T&Cs will be aligned. Upon opening a new account on Rank Affiliates, you will be agreeing to the new T&Cs.

Will my commercial deal stay the same?
All prior agreed CPA deals will stay the same when a new Rank Affiliates account is opened.

We thank you for all your past efforts working in partnership with Lucky Jar and we look forward to seeing you on Rank Affiliates.

    Kind Regards
    The Lucky Jar Affiliate Team

According to the above, unless a prior arrangement is made before closure, NO tagged players will be mapped over to Rank Affiliates. Hence, once Lucky Jar make final payment, that will be your final payment for ALL tagged players at Lucky Jar.

In basic speak, Lucky Jar have sold all players (tagged or otherwise) to Rank Group. And, Rank Affiliates will not be paying commission payment(s) on tagged players acquired by affiliates at Lucky Jar.

IMO this is theft... Luck Jar have no right to do this.

Different if it's a CPA, because that's a 1 time payment for a player. Rev Share is a different agreement. RS is akin to renting a house. The occupier pays the landlord rent, all the while the occupier (tenant) lives in said house. If the "renter" does not pay rent, the landlord evicts them.

Rank Group will not be mapping over historically tagged players, should give a clear message that Rank Group are Crooks, and can't be trusted.

    Edit:

FYI - The Rank Group, is a subsidiary of Guoco Group: guoco.com/en/ based in Hong Kong.

List of the thieving scum bags stealing affiliate tagged players and rightful commissions... guoco.com/en/aboutus/board-of-directors/

Had to chuckle about this one:
    guoco.com/en/esg/employment-labour-practices/

Our people are key in the journey to achieve our aspirations. The Group has in place clear and definitive codes of practices and policies regarding employment practices and staff well-being.

Clear policies are in place to ensure that all employees are treated equally and fairly
Obviously this Social Governance (ethics) does not extend to anyone who The Rank Group, and or Guoco Group can steam roll over (errrr steal from).

Thanks for clarifying AussieDave. I will remove them from my website now

Im still amazed of how these rats continue to do this and get away with it! Not much I can do about it online but as I have said in the past if Im ever at one of those events I will be handing out free slaps to a few brand members.

It is unfortunate as Lucky Jar and Daub have been one of the most consistent programs for the past decade. They always paid, always responded, the brands were unique, good retention, never had an issue with them. Probably should have reduced them back last year when Rank took them over.

Basically you can't rely on anyone in this industry other than bet365. You can't invest in the smaller programs anymore with confidence as you know someone like Rank will take them over and end up stealing your players.

    Or the medium sized programs.

    Or the big programs.

Maybe in the short term but longer term it is going to really damage those Daub brands

Now I see it in bigger letters it makes much more sense I am much happier about this now. Hopefully they enjoy all of those players I have sent already and I feel super motivated now about sending my next few thousand to Rank when the migration is complete.

And here was me thinking this was a bad thing lol.

I'm always happy to join you.

As it goes you are one of the lucky ones. They stole all my players years ago along with many other affiliates players.

They already ****** everyone with a few of the brands they migrated out midway through 2020. This completes the ****ery.

They also own United Commissions brands. Watch this be next...

That is a very good point! They will probably do exactly the same with the UC brands this year so worth taking proactive action there I think.

I removed their brands and closed my account with them when I heard that Elly Villier joined them. She was an AM at Coral, Gala, Ladbrokes in the past and lost me money by making me open new accounts. Not a good person to deal with.

If you Google her the top result is this - Elly Villier - Senior Account Manager - Rank Interactive

Says alot. More brands and accounts down the drain!

Just abhorrent and foolish. They always work things to their own advantage and throw us into the deep end. So much for being valued.

Ironically, the same place where Euro Partners, AffPower and all the other dodgy clip joints hail from.
