Ummm I will look for the thread but there is a graphics and dev guy that has been recommended a number of times....

I could be remembering the name wrong but I recall it is slava? (wow that was a lot of years ago -2006- but I thought there were more recent threads)

You could try running a contest on digital point. https://forums.digitalpoint.com/foru...n-contests.94/ . Just supply a brief, amount of time, and a small prize, and then take the time to critique submissions . I have had a few really good logos this way and have seen loads of good quality work amongst the submissions over there.

Yes if you have an idea and just need someone who knows graphics to make it happen. Fiverr is great for that, you take 4-5 gigs and choose the best one.

But if you want idea+logo, I don't think you can get that on Fiverr. I'm looking for a logo myself, the budget is $100-200, but I don't know where to go. Maybe some crowd design site if my budget isn't too low.

Fiver- I agree with Dan. I managed to get a solid inforgraphics there but because I knew exactly what i want. With logos - didn''t have any success so far.

I checked Digitalpoint contests and there are pretty decent designs being posted there - so it's worth a shot. Regarding other crowd design sites - from what i checked you need about 250-300 budget and higher.

Andy, it was a great idea. The only problem that I already got like a dozen different designs so it's hard to choose.
I'll post some here. First, maybe you can help me decide. Second, it might help someone to see if he/she want to go down that route.

I just think 1. covers all the bases, it is clean but has enough in the design to look like it has been done professionally. 8 is of similar comments I just like the design of 1. 2+3 look like they belong on a pirate ships flag 4. Too basic. 5. Looks cobbled together for the sake of it. 6+7 wouldn't go amiss advertising a forest. 9. Looks modern so decent. 11+12 I am sure I have seen similar and finally 13 would look good on a bottle of Blackjack

GraphicRiver have everything and you can PM the designer and ask them to customize a logo for you as well.
