Ladbrokes Affiliate program

Even the "joke" affiliate programs are laughing at these guys. Surely these clowns have had more than enough time to investigate and report back.

Its soooo sad... Jonathan and several Ladbrokes managers literally hounded me to sign up and start promoting them. Now that I have signed up they have ALL gone AWOL. Jonathan should be sacked.

Also, My account has gone from 650?to ?50... So now apparently 3/35 people signed up deposited which I know is not true. AS I Said previously. I run a private group on Facebook and know that way more than this signed up, deposited.
Regardless of the outcome here I can't imagine why I would ever promote this sham of a company again.

I would be surprised if I ever get this fixed. I just wish I Googled Ladbrokes affiliates before signing up. Seems everyone has a scam story with them

As if this could not get any more ridiculous. I receive this email from Jonathan this morning:

Hi Sam,

Just to let you know that we will paying your commissions for November this week of ?00.

14 depositing sports players x ?0 = ?00

My response:

Dear Jonathan,

I read this email this morning and decided to leave it a few hours to reply because if I had sent an instant reply to this email it would not have been a very nice one.

I contacted you on the 9th of November. A FULL Month ago with a problem which I wanted you to look for at me. Whilst I found it quite annoying it took several days to get you to understand the problem and promise any action on it I assumed it would be dealt with as promised by you: "I have asked the accounts department to look into the stats as they have access to stats that I can’t see, such as IP address, deposit amount and credit card used to make sure that they qualify as unique players.

I will get back to you asap with the report."

This was very reassuring to me and I eagerly awaited your response.

This was the last I heard from you for a while as you then ignored all of my emails until I made this issue public on GWPA forum. Almost 3 weeks after my initial email I was stunned that you simply replied to me saying that they were still looking at my issue...... Once again, This appeared to have gone away until today when I receive this joke of an email.

You have NOT looked at my issue, in fact you have completely ignored it and seem to have reverted to something completely different. I am in shock at the lack of professionalism you have shown in this instance. I am embarrassed to have you as my account manager and you can bet that I will not be promoting Ladbrokes any more. You begged me to promote them by hounding me on Facebook and when I finally decided I would give it a go you disappeared. What an absolute sham.

This will not be the last you hear of this issue.

Anyone any idea on what I can do? Ladbrokes have stopped allowing PMS on this site too now!

Dear Ladrokes Affiliate Team,

This forum thread requires your attention. Many of us, myself included, already do not view your program in a favourable light. It might be due to the theft you inflicted upon US affiliates when you closed them down despite promise of lifetime revenue for their non-US facing traffic (which came on the tail of your profit warning).

It may be for the affiliate tracking platform that you moved to when the one you had was not broke.

It could also be due to the way you treat your current partners.

If you do not care about the way many of us in the affiliate community view you, then keep on keeping on. Otherwise, have the decency to respond to the person in this thread who has issues he wishes to resolve. At the end of the day, you surely want to "do the right thing" and put this issue behind you. I implore you to do so the right way by addressing his issue head on as opposed to burying your head in the sand.

I am giving them a try now, for me they are extremely responsive. Results are no good so far. Anyways thanks OP for the experience at least I expect the worst.

I think it is all about your affiliate manager's personality. You just being unlucky. Ladbrokes is ladbrokes for some people they good for some just disaster.
Personally, I will never work with them.

Historically, Ladbrokes has been GREAT in reaching out in efforts to contact/cold call/spam to get listed on sites.

When it comes to dealing with problems brought to their attention... very different story.
