igt partners - wtf?

I tried to log into my Probability Affiliates account this morning - only to discover they've rebranded to igt partners? Actually, I am not sure if it is a rebrand or if it is a sale, a new direction, a new program, an error, or even a hack...

I did not log in and have suspended any promotion of the Probability brands until this gets sorted. Neither my partner nor I have received notification of any change. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Literally just got an email from them wanting me to sign up. Hearing that they don't communicate with existing affiliates is a turn off!!!

They sent email on the 5th they are delaying the migration to March

What I dont understand is why we need to change links if the system is still using the same IA platform ?!

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL THE G2 AFFILIATES

As per our communication dated 1st February on G2affiliate network platform via Affiliate messages, we are pleased to inform you that on 1st of March 2016, we are migrating to new and better system called IGT Partners (www.IGTpartners.com). The platform continues to be on Income Access, however, please note the following impacts for all G2Affiliates in the given areas:”

1. All affiliates’ generated players will be intact with their respective tagged players and continue to receive their commissions
2. The old G2 trackers will not work on new platform. We kindly request you to replace G2 affiliate network trackers with IGT partner network trackers .
3. Your old commission deal will cease to work and you will be placed under default commission. Please get in touch with us to renew/renegotiate your commission.
4. You will not be able to access your past payment, performance and other reports after migrating to new platform.
5. We will confirm to you on your logins to new platform very soon.
6. IGTpartners has all the existing G2 brands plus new mobile gaming sites to promote.

We thank you in advance for accepting this change and hope to receive your continued support in creating successful IGT partners network.

I'd give my thoughts but I'd be accused of "picking on" programs.

Please be informed that the above termination is covered as per our Terms and Conditions of G2Affiliate network 12.2; "12.2 eitehr G2 or you will be have the right to terminate this agreement on 30(thirty) days' notice to other".

4. You will not be able to access your past payment, performance and other reports after migrating to new platform.

Go for it (your thoughts) - because it's clearly wrong not to have informed you or others. Maybe it's just arrogance, but it hardly inspires confidence.

They claim that on March 1st the migration will complete, but I can't access any of my accounts on the new platform ... anyone able to login on the new platform ?

No warning whatsoever, just a sudden move to a new platform that stops links from working?

OR, do the links continue to work and send traffic to the correct lkanding pages they just decided to make this change so they do not have to pay commissions on the traffic from the old links since they are fully aware that even a year from today....some traffic will still arrive from old expired links?

So they are cancelling deals as well as going back on their word.....

This completely destroys any trust....no way they can even begin to say "Trust us, we will keep our word" since they have just proven they did NOT keep their word.

Of course if affiliates truly meant anything to them they would never NEVER do this without warning since they did NOT give affiliates the chance to extract or export their historical stats.

Another thing. did they delete the old stats? Did they format the hard drives and totally and completely destroy that data, or will THEY be able to access it? If in fact they can access that data (I am 100% sure they can) by not allowing affiliates access to that data this is just even more proof that affiliates did NOT mean a thing to them....

Did I mention yet they have shown a number of ways of how to destroy trust?

I remember way back when they were St Minver affiliates. Poor then, poor now and the same old lack of regard and communication with affiliates. Anyone remember when Gala Bingo were with them? Showing my age now...

The affiliate admin is indeed still working (can't tell until when it'll stay live...) but the main sites are already redirecting to igtpartners...

Perhaps i am wrong re this, but i thought G2 were a part of the Gtech group who purchased IGT. Perhaps that is one of the reasons for a rebrand.
