Hi - you may be aware that post penguin 2.1, backlinks and good quality content are still key - that is why it makes sense for me to allow guest articles on my site in a bid to increase my relevant content.

You may think I'm mad, but I am a web designer with an SEO consultant working under my brand and this was his suggestion. So my proposal is simple.

Send me 'about us' articles with keyword content and anchored backlinks to your site, I will host it on my affiliate blog within the structure of the site. This will A. Boost my relevant content B. Increase my outbound links to relevant sites, and C. Provide you with a rich backlinked article to add to your current offsite SEO campaign. I will provide this in good faith and will not seek to profit out of your article other than utilising the banners that already exist on my site. I will give you the URL so you can monitor and view the page.

The key for both parties is that the content is 'relevant' to your site, limited to a small number of backlinks that are anchored differently and are pointing to different sections of your site. In moderation Google views this as a healthy organic practice as long as the material isn't spammy... put it this way, if my domain gains authority any backlinks that you have on my site will be viewed in higher regard by Google.

I do not wish to farm backlinks and articles, so I will accept only well written articles that aren't full of keyword spam!

Feedback and thoughts are welcome.
