Default Get backlinks from ultra-high-authority academic websites

    Hi.

I represent a team of scientists embarking on a project to review and analyze about 120 gambling websites over this year to see how the mathematical dimension of gambling is reflected in their content and draw conclusions.
Our project at PhilScience connects the academic realm of problem gambling with the gambling industry and is titled Qualitative analysis of the reflection of the mathematical dimension of gambling in gaming online content .
Partial results of this study will be published as technical reports on the ultra-high-authority academic websites Researchgate net, Academia edu, and philpapers org, as well as in probability.infarom.ro and philscience.org. The published results will contain dofollow hyperlinks to the websites involved in the study. Hence, there is expected to be a high value of link equity to those sites resulting from their involvement.

There are no requirements regarding the thematic content and minimal eligibility criteria apply.
The intent is not to highlight shortfalls in any website's coverage but to complete and record a qualitative analysis that collectively displays the level of attention to these subjects across various gambling-related websites. As such, any participant does not necessarily need to cover them in any way.

    See more details here: https://probability.infarom.ro/gammathqa.html
Don’t hesitate to PM me or email us at info [at] philscience.org for any questions.

Default Update on the project of backlinking from academic sites

An update on our project of reviewing gambling websites and backlinking them from high-authority academic sites:

We have published our first technical report with ten gambling websites reviewed in January on Researchgate net, Academia edu, Philpapers org and on our websites. See them here: https://probability.infarom.ro/gammathqa.html

Looking for new participants for the second technical report, estimated to be published in February.
PM me for details or email at [email protected] .

I've had some involvement with this project and fully understand the background.

While no one ever knows precisely what impact any backlinks will have, there is enough evidence over the years that links of this type are desirable and highly likely to give positive results.

Given the links on offer here are under site URLs (rather than under in-content anchor text), and they're from academic research sites (and included within gambling-related studies), I'd suggest the most likely impact from them in the mid to long-term will be an increase in authority and trust signals for the websites concerned.

Ultimately, for sites that have or intend to develop a competitive long-term web presence, that could well turn out to be significantly more valuable than single anchor text links in articles/posts in any number of 'rubbish' blogs. And there's a fair chance their overall value will be greater than links you can pick up on some dedicated gambling-related sites, too.

All evidence suggests this is a legit exercise that logically can present no concerns for anyone interested. For anyone that ever goes looking for links, it's a virtual no-brainer in my book.

A new update on the project of backlinking from academic sites:

The SEO offer has been enhanced with a content offer: Participants in the program will also get one free expert article with gambling-math or problem-gambling topic once a year.
    It’s a unique combined backlinks-content opportunity.
PM me for details or email at [email protected] .

We have three more slots available for the February report. Your link is placed within the main content of those academic sites, and not on the 2nd or 3rd level, like are the comments and posts in blogs and forums. Not mentioning that they will appear on other educational channels that feed from those sites and from Google Scholar.

Several webmasters asked us whether the links we offer are permanent. Each technical report carrying your links remains published in Researchgate. net, Academia. edu, and PhilPapers. org for one year (renewable with a new report). The links in the sites that we own (probability.infarom.ro and philscience.org) remain permanent, even if you don't renew. The links may remain permanent also in other scientific/educational sites that feed from those three academic sites or Google Scholar. Check how the links look live following the link in the main post.

Sorry for the late reply. We register participants on a continuous basis. One slot left for the second report (the third to be published in about one month). PM me for details or email.

    A new update:
The technical reports published in the academic sites are now backlinked from my academic profile’s pages in Google Scholar and orcid.org (world’s official database of researchers and research, DR 91), to give more value to your links.
We are now completing the list of participants for the third report.

    A new update:
Some webmasters pointed out that the entries in archive.org are not indexed by Google. We have replaced this site with the science archive hal.science (DR 73). Those who were listed in our technical reports no. 1 and 2 can see their links now on this site too:

We committed to continue to find new opportunities for the participants to our program (30 by now).
A new academic site has been added recently to our package: https://psyarxiv.com/ (DR 80). It is a science repository for psychology papers. Papers are published in open mode (no login required) on the repository, with dofollow hyperlinks. Participants to all previous reports may see their links live there.
There are also other sites feeding from them.
See the first report published on Psyarxiv: https://psyarxiv.com/y74v6/ .

    Happy New Year!

We have initiated the GamMathQA program one year ago, which connects the academic realm of gambling studies with the gambling web space.
The main goals of the program were to increase awareness about the mathematical facts of gambling and to stimulate the interest of the gambling sites in improving their content in this respect, while giving them exposure in academic sites, which would otherwise be inaccessible for them.
Over this first cycle of the program tens of gambling sites has joined the program and now they have backlinks from authoritative academic sites and science repositories. We are grateful to all these sites for their contribution to our ongoing research and we are committed to working this year on new features of the program, which will offer participants new SEO and content benefits.
Stay tuned to be informed about all the updates on the GamMathQA program and to grow with us.

In July 2023 we have added psyarxiv.com in our GamMathQA academic package. The site is the most authoritative repository for psychology preprints and research papers, part of the Open Science Framework group (osf.io).
See one of our GamMathQA reports published there: https://psyarxiv.com/y74v6/ .
It’s one of the sites in the package displaying the links as dofollow and it’s also important because it assigns the accepted papers a DOI (digital object identifier). With a DOI, the published report becomes connected to the doi.org system (the DOI page of the report in the above example is doi.org/10.31234/osf.io/y74v6 ).
The DOI system gives more value to your links and makes the page accessible to all scholarly search engines. As you know, generally search engines “like” academic pages.
Those participating in the GamMathQA program can see their psyarxiv.com link showing in their Google Search Console (GSC) account as associated with the domain osf.io, with its page in the form osf.io/preprints/psyarxiv/... (Don’t look for it in Ahrefs, as this tool does not “see” the links in user-generated pages or PDF webpages).

We have published another two technical reports this year (20 new gambling sites participating with links). Here is the DOI URL of one of these reports: https://doi.org/10.31234/osf.io/5bqra . The report will be backlinked from any academic publication that cites cites the report with its DOI.

As promised, we have been working to find new valuable channels to publish our GamMathQA reports with your links. We have managed to include two powerful sites in the portfolio:
    - SSRN (Social Science Research Network), the repository of the well-known academic publisher Elsevier (SSRN.com, DR 91) and
    - The philosophy of science e-library of the University of Pittsburg (philsci-archive.pitt.edu, DR 89, where you can have now a genuine .edu backlink.
The sixth report will be also published on these channels besides the other five, while those listed in the already published reports will see their links there in a couple of weeks.
