Do yourself a favor and go delete that domain right now, then come back and delete this post.

It's a WillHill trademark. So a useless domain.

Price? Pay someone to hand it over to Will Hill.

.. and these things go down extremely fast. Like a DMCA, followed by an expedite claim, where the judge rules in favor of the brand literally right away. Usually brands don't take action until you've sunk good amount of cash and you start to get traction. Seen it happen on a benz mercedes forum many many years ago.

Now you don't have to wonder why such a "quality" domain was available to register . There are many more btw of that sort. The ONLY way this doesn't go their way is if it's a satire/criticizing website like paypalsucks, in which case it still makes the domain non-profitable/convertible.

They wouldn't need to pay you for it, since it belongs to them already. I'm in no way any sort of expert on trademarks, but there wouldn't seem to be even an infinitesimal chance that what you have isn't a clear violation.

You could register domains like this 15-20 years ago, and still can. As executable said, think about why it was even free.

Get rid of this whole thread (if you can) and delete the domain at the registrar (as MJM already very quickly said)

It is called UDRP and no judge is needed. Thankfully for idiots like OP or myself in the past. It cost 500 usd in the past to fill the UDRP claim, so technically the value of the domain can be up to 499.99.

Idk how was situation of MB forum. There was an exception exactly made for forums, but it is the borderline situation...

When wet behind the ears (some may say I still am) a longgg time ago, I registered xxxxx xxxxx bonus.com. Spent a few hours putting up a one pager. Just a kid still, I had no concept that it was wrong.

They came for it, with words to the effect of 'you are infringing on our trademark, please confirm your agreement to transfer the domain immediately to avoid legal action'.

A pretty reasonable approach, I'm not sure that sort of (fairly laid-back) approach would be the norm now.

The price is what someone is willing to pay i guess. In this instance it would be foolish as to pay anything for it given the TM implications
