Default Free versions of slot games

    Hi -

Just wondering if anyone has free version of slots on they site and if so, do they believe its better to sit in the page or launch in an iframe from a button click? And are there any seo implications for either.

    Thanks,

In my opinion, if you load the game directly on page load you get better engagement from the visitor. They will spend more time on the page.
On the other hand loading the game will slightly increase page load speed so it's a trade off for SEO.
Launching from a button can reduce initial page load time.
It would be worth A/B testing which solution results in more click-throughs on the affiliate links placed on those pages.

You could always defer loading of the game, that way your not hindering the load time of everything else on your page load. I wouldn't opt for a button, or iframe either. Just embed the game directly into your page.

iframe is the best option for loading on your site page

Thanks for responses. I just realised i meant a lightbox (like a pop up). But yes, I think for engagement it does make sense for the game to load automatically on page load without any action from the user - though they are slow to load - I can probably put an image in front though.

BTW - Getting games from operators means they have to be in an iframe I think - there is no other option??

There is the script option but as with iframe it all slows sites down, with speed an emphasis right now i would keep it light

Not that I'm aware of, all the providers and operators are usually sending a link which you use on iframe, also better to get directly from the provider if possible because many operators are using their own casino page template which makes it clumsy to use in your site iframe... if you know what I mean..

Yep. Makes sense. Havent got links from all suppliers yet though. Are they generally helpful in giving demo games?

The new providers are more helpful naturally, but for the big providers like NETENT you'll need to get from the operators you're promoting, many have these days!

Just following up on this - is there anywhere a list of games that can / cannot be published as demos (i.e. without requirement to login)? As with all other things regulator-related, seems no one can agree on what is correct .

Almost all games can be published as demos and without the need to login, the only restrictions are done from the provider operator side to block games demo access for specific countries which are not allowed. But not all are doing this as well...
