Default Feedbacks on our new search site

    Hi everyone,

A few weeks ago, we launched https://instantcasinosearch.com and we'd love to hear your positive/negative feedback on any aspect.

The goal is to be an advanced search site with a high relevancy rate and speed. For example, you can search "Norwegian Bitcoin", and brands with Norwegian language option that accept bitcoin will be listed as a result within a matter of milliseconds.

The site is still under development and away from its ideal form. We appreciate your feedback moving forward.

Loaded fast so you do have the speed part done well.

30 brands listed on the homepage and in essence zero content.
Reviews have very little to offer a reader beyond a few bullet points (acf fields)
Reviews offer no call to action beyond the play button and no compelling content about any single brand's features.

Will be better determined after more is added but decent layout, although you will want more text on the home page.

In my opinion, its just a casino list, which can be sorted by some certain filters. It can be great, but only if you can bring a lot of traffic from other sources. If you want organic traffic, well... in that case, maybe you add some content to casino reviews pages.

Anyway, good luck with your project!

You might want to make this clearer, because it currently just looks like a general search box that most people are probably used to ignoring on sites.

So to me it looks like a search box (that I'd ignore) and then a plain list of sites. The fact that the search is meant to filter casinos based on parameters you put into the search box wasn't clear to me until I read your post.

I get where you're coming from, but it might be worth making that more obvious to users...

Also they may not know what to search for if they're just looking for a casino to play on without any specific requirements. I mean this both from the perspective that they might not know what they're looking for, but also what kinds of parameter they can use.

Eg: Is it just "paypal" or can they perform more complex searches for "casinos with the highest rtp for blackjack".

That leads me into my next question... how strict is the search filter? For example, if someone searches "bonus buy slots" is it going to return only casinos that have them and nothing if there isn't anything that matches that term, or is it going to just partial match "slots"?

The problem with the former is that users will need to use the right language in their searches and you'll need a hefty set of keywords to accommodate it, but if you use the partial match then it's not going to be that useful for anything specific as it won't filter it enough.

Hi, I agree that currently, it resembles more a straightforward list of brands. My suggestion would be to categorize the casinos to enhance user navigation. Incorporating a navigation menu and breadcrumbs would significantly improve site usability. Additionally, enriching the descriptions for each brand can offer users more valuable insights. This approach could elevate the overall user experience by providing more depth and navigational clarity.

I like the easy and uncluttered interface but the start page is still too simple. I would like a little more information on it

As others have said just looks like a list of casinos. If the search is the USP of the site it needs to be clear how people will use it and what results they will get back. Unless you're planning on paying for traffic there is no way this site would rank for anything. I can't comment more as it's not clear how you hope to attarct people to the site.

First of all, your website is super fast, so you nailed that part. In my case, only one of the terms I searched for yielded results (bitcoin, when I searched for it like that and not as BTC, which was the first thing I did). If your goal is to build an advanced search that becomes a go-to for users, I think you're on the right track, but you need to add more terms and their synonyms to ensure that users find what they're looking for if it's available and to decrease the bounce rate.

I would also add more content about you, the types of searches that can be performed, casino reviews, etc. You have an excellent foundation, but you need content that helps you rank and enhances the user experience so that once they find you, they spend time on your page.

We are working on providing more details about brands. Hopefully review pages will be more appealing as our data grows bigger.

Text on the home page is still tricky however: we know we need more text but also we don't want to stray away from the search engine interface. With valuable feedback and right analysis we hope to reach the optimal design in terms of both SEO and UX.

Funny enough, even I had forgotten that I could search by payment methods during internal testing before the launch. That's why we implemented search hints later to give an idea about what can be searched. It's valuable that you have pointed this out, we will keep working on that. Please let us know if you have any suggestions to improve it.

Going with the example "casinos that accept bitcoin in norwegian language", this query will show you the list of brands that have both items, followed by the brands that have only one. Even though we had the data for blackjack rtp, your specific query would need a twist to work as it requires value assocation. However it's certainly doable, we designed our tech stack and data structure with the anticipation of such challenges. Maybe we can even use AI to transform these prompts into backend queries.

Taken my notes on navigation menu and breadcrumbs. As @baldidiot also stated earlier, the users may not have anything in mind for searching so this could help for such cases either.

We try not to overpopulate the result cards. What more info do you think would go into the cards without harming the interface?

We would love to hear if you have anything in mind to help us improve the user experience. As for ranking, we hope to figure it out along the way. Our strategy is to do our best.

Thanks for encouragement and pointing out to the alias problem, we will be working on it asap! Blinded by working too much on technical side of things, we may have skipped the about us section. You are right on that. Thanks for reminding.

Basically, it is almost an empty website. You need to add significant amount of content.

What's the point of an advanced search site if no one can find it? With that I mean, like others have mentioned.. there is no content. However, if you gonna have a chance to succeed with this site, you need to add a lot of high-quality content, focus on link-building and build a strong brand awareness.

    Best of luck!
