I used to be an avid poker player but now I don't play anymore. Level of the game went up so much since 2008/2009 that now I'm only break-even. No fun from it anymore.Originally Posted by kazinoportal
No, never.
Yes, but only one day a month or less.
Yes, about once a week.
Yes, several times a week.
Yes, just about every day.

Having a sports betting customer base has certainly dampened my enthusiasm for throwaway bets, particularly on football. Backing the 'no brainer' accumulator of a handful of odds-on matches doesn't have the same appeal when secretly all you want is for one of them to draw/lose
I like sometimes to play in casinos, especially slot machines, has won a very large amount

I play slots, but pretty sometimes. It's even less than once in a month or two. When I got into this industry, I simply couldn't understand why slots are so popular and why would anyone play it - they seemed such a dumb game, where you don't use your brain and have no any influence on aka pointless. But since I was an administrator of gambling forum, I had to learn something about slots to be able to participate in topics.
It was the only reason I started - to learn about the games, their features and software providers. It was a mini science for me.
At that time, about 4 years ago, NetEnt was still kinda in the shadow of Microgaming, RTG and Playtech, but their graphics, intros, themes and music simply bought me and made my "studying" mission much easier.
Then I started opening accounts in different online casinos to check them and to gain an experience in different operators... also to learn how to recognise good and pleasant brand.
I even cashed-out a couple of times, after completing rough bonus wagering and I felt so happy and proud of myself Funny is that I never cashed-out from NetEnt and it's still on my wish and goal lists.
Nowadays I like to deposit and try out new games, fresh out of oven, but my deposits are minimum in 95% of cases.
There's a saying that "you don't get high on your own product". No, I'm strictly on the business side only.

Ex-gambler for multiple years now; way too expensive. Used to be a high roller, but today I deem it wiser other people then me roll high
I have to fly to another country to gamble, so I can only gamble a few times a year. In fact I'm going to Vegas in around 4 weeks to catch up.
Been gambling on video slots, blackjack and poker, but not much. Managed to stay in plus a couple of Euros . I also have a history in sports betting, but haven't placed a sports bet in years.

I played poker professionally for three or four years, and I think I got all of it out of me then because I never really have the urge to play anymore lol

I play small stakes poker on pokerstars while I'm working. Usually the sub $1 multi-table tournaments. Keeps me at my desk.
Typically I back our selections on the site whether it be golf, racing or footie.
Although I do have a good record when I back my own selections in Golf.

I enjoy the occasional poker game with friends, or a few coins in a slot. I do scratch card here and there. Purely for enjoyment. Even poker, where skill matters, is a horrible game to make a living off. 20 tables 8 hours a day or more...better just get a normal job or run affiliate sites. I doubt I use more than 50 euro a year for all of these combined. Vegas would be a different deal, just for the experience....I wouldn't even wanna win big there since **** would get out of hand immediately.
I've never played casino games with real money and it's been years since I played poker. It's better to be a gambling affiliate than a gambler.
In 2015 I was certainly what you'd call an online poker grinder. And despite moderate success, I plan to invest much more time in other ventures in 2016.
Yep - daily.
