Do you gamble?

We all do promote gambling sites like casinos, pokersites, lotteries, bookies, etc. but do you gamble yourself?

I do not gamble. Sometimes, when I've made an account to check an online casino I play the free spins or I play the fun mode, but for the rest, besides playing poker with friends, i do not gamble.

Although I do occasionally play the slots online I would rather visit a casino and play them live, but have not done so in a few years now.

I enjoy a rare game of poker, but would rather play poker online, but do not do that very often either since I almost always get sidetracked by one thing or another which ends up taking my focus away. This usually result in not paying close enough attention to the cards played leading to mistakes etc, which takes away part of the enjoyment.

Love casino, poker and even, since I have a site, bingo. Not really a sports bettor apart from the Grand National and maybe once or twice a horse racing punt through the year.

Still trying to land that progressive and then ... retirement.

I'll play the Roulette whenever I visit the casino, and I'll occasionally bet on a sporting event, mostly Tennis, but my main gambling activity is buying a lottery ticket whenever the jackpot is $10 million or more.

In the past I sometimes visited a casino to play live casino games. But more as a day out instead of gambling a lot there. Main problem is that here casino's are more like the old fashioned arcade games halls instead of a real casino with entertainment and stuff.

If I'm visiting a place with a casino I may pop in for occasional gamble, only play blackjack though. Normally casinos offer some of the best food and entertainment so it usually tends to be a good night, won't normally play anything more than ?0-?0. Very rarely play online, I used to enjoy live blackjack but again I would only deposit maybe ?0 a month/every two months.

Also if I am visiting a pub for a meal may stick the occasional could of quid in the bandit, normally deal or no deal though.

I don't gamble at all. Not online or at a land casino. I don't drink, smoke or do any of that non sense. I believe in having a strong focus. Some people have said I'm boring lol

I seem to be the only one that gambles

I do a few football bets per week, play poker to supplement my income and occasionally play casinos if I get a decent bonus (maybe once or twice a month)
I think it's important to play at a sportsbook/casino if you are going to recommend it other people, my experiences as a player have led to me pushing certain brands over others.

Wow, I'm amazed that so few seem to gamble. I gamble for entertainment and so I can write about my experiences and give my personal recommendations. Nothing excessive but enough to enable me to speak with some authority about my chosen subjects.

I'm not so surprised about that. I mean, we all do write about gamble, we all do read about gamble, we all know a lot about the casino games, house edges, pay out ratio's, etc. Statistically a gambler will lose. I think we all know that, as wel as the risks, etc.

When I get chance I still like to play a bit of online poker, used to play loads more before the kids came along and was moderately successful, won a few tournaments in the the 300-1,000 entrants kind of range. Far too time-consuming now to do it more than just for the occasional night here and there, still enjoy it though

Very rarely, almost never for sports betting as I don't have time or inclination to bother.

I do like to visit a real life casino sometimes on night's out and I occasionally play online casino at very low stakes for a bit of fun, but nothing recently really. I like a bit of Blackjack but as I know basic strategy off by heart I actually rarely lose much, it just passes the time really to the point of being boring. Casino to me is somewhere to go at 3am if everywhere's shutting and me and mates still want a few more beers (and haven't pulled...shock, horror!).

Sports gambling - still active ...
Poker maybe only once/twice a year.
Online Casino almost never.
Real Casino - once - I came out ahead on a trip to the Grand Casino in Monaco and spent the winnings on a nice lunch for two!

I've noticed that I place far less sports bets (or smaller stakes) than I used too - as I now spend a lot of time in and about the industry and effectively have my bets placed in the rev-share earnings at each place. That seems to satisfy my gambling urge.

I was actually a degenerate gambler in high school and early college, but I managed to get past it (well, addiction can always come back if you`re not careful). I guess drinking took over

I still do sports betting regularly as I always believed I can pick winners. Fortunately I don`t feel the need to go "all in" anymore, the urge is gone and I can stay professional. Poker was never really my game so I just play when friends call me, a couple of times a year. I stay away from casinos, maybe once a year I hit the roulette table with my friends.

I`m actually a bit worried about opening a casino website and testing operators for reviews, because roulette could have ruined my life if I wouldn`t have stoped early. I still have relapses, in the last 3 years I lost my betting balance twice by going to the Betfair casino, last time just a few months ago, after making a killer profit on the Australian Open. Fortunately it was right after I withdrew most of the profit.

Sometimes. Here in Spain is very popular La Quiniela, which is a kind of lottery, where you have to mention win or draw for every pair of teams.
There are 15 pairs and you must predict at least 10 results to win something.

And Euromilions 1-2 times during the month.

Sometimes I test the brands I work with to give a better review for my users.
