Default Do I have to work with Bodog?

New Affiliate question here. I'm having a tough time joining Bodog's affiliate program. Bodog wants to know 20 questions about what my marketing strategy is and how I intend to drive traffic, etc., etc. I guess I understand Bodog's concern to protect their brand name being that they spent loads of money marketing themselves. However, I really don't feel like I should have to explain in details what my business plans and don't feel its necessary.

I don't really mind not affiliating with Bodog. I guess my question for you more experienced affiliates, will it hurt my player conversions if I don't have bodog as an option being that my site strictly offers deposit bonuses and bonus codes.

It's your choice mate. I'd personally just answer the questions and get it over with. They are a good brand to have if they accept you as an affiliate.

I felt the same as TripleClubs you when I got the questionnaire, but then I took a look from another point of view: they only accept affiliates who have a clear vision about their business, so you don't have to worry about bad affiliates who spam away the players and devalue your work. I actually see this questionnaire as some kind of quality filter.

I was the same it took me a while to get, but just be honest and fill it out, if you dont know how many players you will be sending say you have no clue. I also found Bwin to be tough to get into. But have to agree the amount of material they have beats the rest by a mile so they are worth having id say.

Bodog is a solid brand and the company is reputable. In my opinion it is well worth jumping through a few extra hoops to work with them.

Bodog is most likely the best brand I have as far as conversion rate to sign up, retention, loyalty, etc. Yes it is not like joining any other program. But, this is not just any old affiliate program either. The stringent requirements they have prior to joining (or being approved) really keep the brand's integrity higher than most. I honestly can't recall ever being spammed by a Bodog affiliate. The standards are high and I hope they never change that. I still recall how excited I was to be approved!

Of course you don't have to work with Bodog if you choose not to. And no - I don't think that your players will even blink if the brand is not on your site.

But ... they are a strong brand - they do generate good revenues (as mentioned above) and they are extremely safe for players to play at.

So with all that in mind - couldn't you really just answer a few questions and get them on board?
