I think cryptocurrencies will grow hugely that's for sure but will not replace government stablecoins (which will become highly regulated). What do you think will happen when everyone will be in the metaverse? Will people still play on their phone? Will online casinos adapt and buy land in the metaverse and build their "virtual" casino their?

I think people will be on their phones all the time. Whether this is good or bad is unknown.

I don't know, I believe once people will have tested the metaverse they won't go back to their phone. Of course, this won't happen in two or three years. I'm more talking about a ready player one's scenario here where people will interact in the metaverse. When the movie start you can actually see a planet the size of a casino pretty sure this will happen one day and this may be sooner that we think

I think that's where it's going. Let's look at the advantages:
    1) Anonymity. No one knows about you if you wish to remain in the shadows.
    2) Taxes. You don't pay any taxes on deposits and withdrawals from such transactions.
    3) It is very convenient if you already know about crypto wallets.

But it can be illegal in terms of cashing out, so I think various governments will try to limit it somehow.

In my opinion, I don't see that happening.

And even if it will happen (which I don't think it will), I assume it will take at least 5 - 10 years.

I think that all casinos may offer crypto in the future but not 100% crypto!

I feel that the number of crypto casinos has increased.
However, I think it is still a long way to become a 100% crypto casino.
Cryptocurrency assets are used almost exclusively for investment purposes in Japan.

I know that Canada is 2nd after the U.S. in the number of bitcoin ATMs installed, blockchain is being studied. There has also been an attempt to develop their own coins called CADcoin. Unfortunately taxes cannot be paid with crypto, only exchange for goods or services. This is the 21st century, I think there will be changes in time.

Hello, cryptocurrency has already gained rapid momentum. If you buy coins, you need to have nerves of steel not to snap and sell everything, my friend during the market decline just deleted the application and did not enter for a couple of days. Where there's a lot of money, there's a lot of risk of loss.

The cryptocurrency is being adopted faster than the internet in the 90s. And gambling using crypto, like LTC, SOL and other fast ones is so convient. Instand deposits and Withdrawals. For sure we can see some casinos, like Pokerstars offering instant withdrawals with Skrill, but there are a lot more crypto casinos offering instant transactions than there are regular casinos. And IMO that factor will make cryptos grow more and more. Not saying a 100%, but eventually crypto casinos will be mainstream.

I haven't played a casino with cryptocurrency yet. I think it's something to try, but I think in the future few casinos will work like that, or it will be a hybrid casino, with different kinds of currencies

I am working for few years with betonline, they have really good bonuses for new players depositing with crypto and my stats says 90% of players use crypto.

How do players react when the market is in turmoil? Do they stop gambling or deposit more to compensate for the price fall?

I for my part just continue gambling and don't look too much at the coin charts. Because if you lose in the casino and the BTC price just fell a lot before than your losses don't hurt so much. But since you can't predict whether you win or lose it doesn't matter anyways.

As long as customers are paid in fiat, casinos won't be 100% crypto. Currently crypto traffic accounts for less than 1% of a fiat affiliate so we have a long way to go.

Fiat operators are investing millions to monetise "free" related traffic, free poker, free bets, no deposit bonuses etc, I think that crypto payments will become more adopted by fiat operators in the coming years.

I think crypto casinos will grow a lot also in those countries with a weak fiat currency (eg: Africa and LATAM) , and where small population have banking services.

These already exist a year later from the original post, but I wouldn't really call them casinos, more like gambling website of a simplistic nature. They are owned by either small companies or people who had the script and put it up. The whole gambling process is within the smart contract so whether it has any decent RTP I do not know.

What I've seen in the past few months is that most of the people who are on Solana, are the type of people who gamble on anything. They gamble on alt coins, on nfts and because that's not enough they are looking for other sites for even more gambling. They are around 18 to 25, most of them in college.

Very little knowledge OR patience about anything. Talking about the simplistic nature of these "gambling" sites, take a look at degen coin flip. You stake your SOL, the contract simulates a coin flip and you either lose your stake or you get to double, triple quadriple etc it.

While BTC & ETH is where smart money is and you may need a more serious project, Solana is the playground of youngsters with spare cash and are looking for that 1000:1 payout. Don't quote me on this, but there's a potential in that.

As for the big players, they won't bother with websites and web2. They will directly buy land (have already bought it, an example MGM) in the metaverse and set up their virtual casinos there. Whether it takes off or not we shall see. If it does, it will pay off to be the first and if it doesn't it will be one quite expensive investment.

What do I believe? The digitalization of money and businesses is inevitable and it will only get bigger. Biggest problem about all crypto casinos? No KYC and no government would like that. Took them what 20-22 years to make progress with online casinos, and now they have to prepare for the new wave.

It does not make any logical sense to gamble with Bitcoin or any other deflationary coin because it's value is going up anyway so people would rather hold on to it. However, where crypto can come in is that stablecoins can help offshore casinos break into some lucrative markets where gambling is restricted, such as North America, the MENA region and large parts of Asia

I suppose, that cryptocurrency will be one the most popular payment methods in casinos in the next 10 years, but not the only one.
