Default Coral Exclusive - win ?,000,000 on the UK Health Lottery

With Football Jackpot and now The Health Lottery bet, Coral really are the 'Millionaire Makers'!

Today we are launching the opportunity to bet on the result of The Health Lottery draw at Coral.

Unique to Coral, customers have the opportunity to win ?,000,000 for a ? stake on the outcome of the Health Lottery Draw which is broadcast on the UK’s Channel 5 at 9.55pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The Health Lottery is owned by Richard Desmond, owner of Northern and Shell the media group that includes the Daily Express, Daily Star, OK magazine and Channel 5.

With its new Health Lottery bet on the outcome of the draw, in addition to being able to win similar prizes (e.g.?0 for 2 correct numbers and the bonus ball, ?0 for 3 correct numbers through to ?00k for 5 correct numbers), Coral customers also have the chance to win ?,000,000 by correctly picking all 5 numbers and then matching the bonus ball with their Million Pound Number.

The Health Lottery will be promoting the Coral bet through TV advertising and a huge outdoor media campaign that begins today, highlighting that customers can now win ?m by betting on the outcome of The Health Lottery draw at their local Coral shop and at Coral.co.uk.

It is an exclusive tie up and we will be contributing a share of the gross revenue from every bet to the good causes supported by The Health Lottery. It should be made clear though, that customers who bet on the outcome of The Health Lottery with Coral are not entering the official draw itself. However, with ?m to be won and a percentage of all income going to Health Lottery good causes, what better reason to choose Coral to place bets on the outcome of the draw.

Do you know what verticals convert across well to lottery type products? The one that springs to mind is bingo, but interested to know if there are there others that work well too.

massive problem with the health lottery is how difficult it is to actually claim your winnings. if they want any sort of retention then they need to sort that out lively

We know that there are frequent cross-overs to this product from Bingo Players and Slots Players. That said, we going to be trying to make it an obvious and natural 'add on' for sports punters too. Essentially we'd love it to be no different from when punters go down the corner shop on a Saturday morning to buy their paper, mars bar and lottery ticket.

If we can find an elegant and non-irritating solution it may be pushed at the footer of onsite bet slips when punters confirm their bets.
