Saw this early today - was wondering when you guys were going to post about it...

Fantastic win though, and great publicity for both you and Coral too - congrats to all involved (have covered it myself here)!

Last nights game must have been a bit of a nail biter though. And be honest now, did you hedge by sticking a chunk down on Brighton to win?

Thanks all for the good wishes. A handful of us traveled down to the match from our London office and it was a nail-biting second half once Brighton had equalised. Fair play to Coral, who paid out quickly, efficiently and with a smile.

I think this week has shown that a football pool with a seven figure prize can really capture the betting public's imagination. Soe they EIGHT figure ?0,000,000 Colossus - should be colossal!

The response on social media has been overwhelming, so we are really looking forward to seeing the public reaction on the day when one of our players is going into the last leg of a football match, one result away from a true lottery-sized prize.

One comment we have made this week is that it would have been nice to have had a cash-in option on the Coral bet, before kick-off on Monday (or between other games) - ideally a fractional cash-in option to bank some profits from the bet and let some of it run.

Given that Colossus Bets offers a fractional cash-in option on 'live' tickets I am probably biased here, but I think giving punters control of their destiny in a situation like this and taking away the 'all or nothing' element of such a bet, is the future in multi-leg betting.

PS Sarah - we kept it quite )

Some very aggressive marketing last night on twitter! Jumping on the fact that people thought the Coral jackpot would be ?m every week. Did you see an increase in player numbers?

Would love to have a chat via skype so drop me a pm at some point.
