Which city would you like to be the next AAC conference in?

But thinking about new place for the conference, not visited yet, has another side of the medal for me - I don't have enough time to properly see the place. It gets all about business, meetings and long dinners, not much about sightseeing and tourist experience..

I always take an extra day or two when we are in a new place. Although you are so close to these countries you could go there for a weekend anyway

How do you know that?

They could be more original than with Budapest

(no offence - it's gorgeous city, but too close and already visited from me and conferences used to be there already). At least, bring back Barcelonaaaaaa

It is always nice to visit and experience new cities and if possible add a day or two before/after to explore. Selecting interesting cities for everyone to experience is a great way to get people to attend and keeping the conferences fresh, going to the same cities every year can get a bit dull. Selecting countries and cities that have a good network of online gambling such as Scandinavia is a great idea.

We all like a good party however I believe business, costs and convenience to travel to for attendees should be the first priority.

I understand the choice for Eastern Europe. Scandinavia is kind of a saturated market with many big affiliates, who will attend anyway if they feel they need to. Budapest is having also great facilities, it's easy to get there and compared with Scandinavia it's not expensive at all. For 2017 Amsterdam is in the agenda already. I hope they will change it into something like Spain. I do agree they should change locations perhaps a bit more to keep it interesting for everybody.

One of the organization told me it will be almost sure Budapest. Alternative is Prague.

In my opinion it would be lovely to have the conference in Portugal (Lisbon or Porto) or in an Eastern European country.

Both these options offer the possibility to visit amazing places at a very affordable price!

But unfortunately, all this chatting and suggestions are useless atm, because Amsterdam is going to be host next year as well.. It's too much already.

It is going to be Berlin again. That's great because it's a nice city, but it should also be nice if next year new cities appear instead of Amsterdam and Berlin. Berlin, Amsterdam and Stockholm, it is too much of the same

At AAC i've heard rumours that this was the last conference in Amsterdam. But must say, same was said about Berlin.

Well if the airlines and collective governments do not make it too difficult to visit the US, I would once again vote for Tampa, FL

Orlando would be ideal (as the number of hotels and or convention space dealers would compete considerably I would suspect) but most often folks want a casino, and Tampa is 70 miles from Orlando, and most affiliates as well as operator's management teams could use a conference here to bring their families to visit the Orlando attractions. Being close to Orlando could easily help with many arranging flights and or packages since it still is one of the top tourist destinations in the world.

I don't know about you..but i do see a major difference between Berlin and Amsterdam. Amsterdam is so small and enviromental friendly...Berlin on the other hand, is the complete opposite of that. Or maybe you mean another type of similarity..in terms of art you mean?

Not sure why they do a conference in Berlin. I would assume the best place to do one would be sunny Gibraltar? or is that just me!

I was referring to the audience, the exhibitors, markets, etc. I would say London (where everybody comes), DACH (Berlin), Scandinavia (Stockholm or whatever city over there) and then something in East or Southern Europe instead of Amsterdam.
