BTC sent via Coinjar BUT no TXID associated to transfer
Hi,
Need some help here, and if possible, a way to fix this issue, thanks. I've submitted a support ticket, but given they only work week days, I wont see any happiness till at least Monday (2 days). By which time (if the BTC value has dropped, I stand to lose out)
I use CoinJar to send BTC.
Today I sent to an address I've used many times previously. So I know the address is correct. Besides, Coinjar checks if it's a valid BTC address, before allowing you to send funds. Once the transaction is done, I always grab the TXID, and just in case I need to accelerate (via free service).
However, there is no TXID. This transaction has no TXID.
This has happened a few times in the last 8 months or so. It never happened previously. Usually, and within a 30min window, a TXID appear with this BTC transfer and eventually the BTC arrives at the receiver's end.
It's now over an 1 hour, and still not TXID is attached to this BTC transfer.
I can only guess, either the BTC has not been sent by Coinjar (hence no TXID) or some other bug has happened. Either way, the receiver still hasn't got the BTC, and looking up the address via a BTC Tracker, gives nothing, other than what's already been sent previously.
Is there a way to fix this myself, or do I, as feared, have to wait for support to arrive Monday to fix this. In which case, if BTC drops in value, I'm the poor sucker who loses out here, even thought it's Coinjar's system error at fault

Hi latrobet,
I tried another small test transaction to the same BTC address. That too didn't attached a TXID.
But, just logged back into wallet to retrieve the transaction address (for you to check) and I see the "test" transfer, has now issued a TXID.
However, the transfer previous to this, (which I commenced this thread about) still has no TXID. I'll PM you the address

Got the PM mate. Short answer mate as far as the network is concerned, that transaction has never happened. Counjar just hasn't processed it. I can't even come up with an edge case for this to happen.

I figure that's the case, for whatever reason (glitch) hasn't processed the transfer, hence no TXID.
Kinda sh#tty really cause no support till Monday 8am (AU) time. Thanks for the assistance
I'd change wallets but not many take AU, and those that do, don't offer an ATM card like coinjar. Least not for AU. IDK if it's normal practice for a crypto wallet not to have 24/7 support, but it just seems odd coinjar don't.
