Fury does like to enjoy life between fights that's for sure, a few weeks to trim down a bit and he'll win at a canter!

"Francis Ngannou was let go by the UFC's Dana White because of his threat to Jon Bones Jones UFC/MMA record."

    You believe this Bobby?

"Ngannou first revealed when announcing the signing, he stated that the PFL agreed to pay his opponents a minimum of a $2 million payday, which is likely more guaranteed money than almost every other heavyweight is earning across the sport regardless of promotion"

    def not about the money.

Highest guaranteed money deal in heavyweight MMA ever.

"The contract, which PFL CEO Peter Murray has called the “most lucrative” deal in MMA, not only allows Ngannou the freedom to pursue a boxing match on his own terms but he gets equity in the company, a seat on the PFL's athlete advisory board and he becomes the chairman of PFL Africa"

    It's pretty sweet deal.

After he loses to Tyson Fury he'll keep his reputation in tact and draw bigger audience for next PFL fight.

Ngannou will simply make more money this way and UFC really wants some of this promotion business too.

    The fight's gonna be EPIC!

Both are literal giants and both are in the league of their own, however the different approach is the thing that will make this event one for the books,

One thing we know, Francis can throw a punch and Tyson can take a punch.

I love the irony of the fact The Iron Mike is not in Tyson's corner.

Default Fury vs Ngannou is on Saturday night (UK time) afternoon US time.

The fight is getting closer and closer. I'm hearing the guest list is massive and impressive - rumours of Eminem, Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor attending and many ex boxing champions. Press conference just finished and was entertaining. Highly recommended boxing event, hopefully you all tune in. Hopefully we get Usyk vs Fury Undisputed for December 23rd but I'll wait. Anyone seen the Promo video for Fury vs Ngannou and the song/music video 'Pepper' featuring Ngannou, Ronaldo, Lil Baby, Skrillex and Big Flowdan?

Same here. My jaw hit the floor when they announced the result. I thought Ngannou won convincingly.

Yeah it was very close. A few pundits both MMA and Boxing have shared their views and how they scored it, its a very mixed reaction. I think it could have gone either way but the 10-8 round were he put Fury down sold it for me. I think Ngannou maybe just edged it. I dont think Fury ever hurt him either, Ngannou is made from granite, he is an absolute beast. I look forward to seeing what he can do with that division.

94-95 either way I can just about see, the 96-93 scorecard though in favour of Fury was just plain wrong though!

No idea how they gave that to Fury. I am hardly an expert but have watched a lot of heavyweight fights and in my view that was Ngannou's fight. Maybe Fury just couldn't lose because it would devalue the Usyk fight?

Yeah, Fury losing would have raised all sorts of questions over the Usyk fight. All about the money as ever.

I think the judges may have been influenced by Fury's reputation and his status as the undisputed heavyweight champion.
