Default BGO - refused to play and closed account

Hi, has anybody else had any issues with BGO? I was approached by them a few months ago for one of my UK sites and I agreed to give them a go. We promoted them for a couple of months and then we removed them from a featured post position on the homepage after only attracting 7 FTD's in that time. We still haven't been paid anything and most shouldve come in November. Ive sent a couple of messages now and had one reply to say its being looked into but thats it. My gut tells me were probably not getting it now.

Same here. There's a thread where they stole my money. Got very little support from the gpwa community including mods/admins. Left a sour taste all round. I wouldn't expect much back-up here.

Similar treatment a couple years back, they are on my never ever list.

I've never had an issue with them and have worked with them since they were Xbingo. Although I don't trust anyone these days. Plenty of programs that will keep some happy whilst s×××ing all over other affiliates.

They shafted everyone a few years back, cutting commissions and introducing minimum activity quotas that applied retroactively. A lot of affiliates were burnt by that and have sworn off them ever since.

We had similar issues with these guys. Lack of responses, especially when it comes to late payment. We ended up just giving up and removing them. I guess it's been around a year. Somewhere around 2k we were owed, not huge but not nothing either.

Didn't bother complaining about it here at the time because they are so strongly supported here and had seen other people not get a great response.

    God knows why.

Because they hadn't had a problem (yet). It's called selfishness.

I wouldn't go as far as to call it selfish.

We're all wrapped up in our own worlds with our own interests. I think we just have to work from our own experiences and not ever rely on the community as a whole to help us. This site is great for information and connecting with like minded people. But in the end... we are in competition.

Never had any issues with BGO personally, plenty of updates and payments on time.

Last e-mail was yesterday from Karolina on a new welcome offer at Vegas Luck.

Back in the day... rephrase, even 5 - 6 years ago, most regular GPWA affiliates had each others backs when sh#t hit the fan. We may all be in competition (that's true) but we all bleed the same.

Totally agree with you. And yes 5-6+ years ago this felt like a very different industry. I think a lot of people are in really deep with their brands now and the leverage is being used by the brands to keep them going around with their fake smile.

Have experienced it myself. Thankfully I was in a position where I could say f*** O**. Not everyone is so even the rogueiest of rogueiest brands will have seemingly otherwise decent affiliates saying how great they are.

We will probably wait to promote them as several partners seem to have had problems with them.
