That really is a problem. I understand Bet365 do not do this deliberately, but is it too much to retag the players based on DOB/email or something like that if they create "a new account"?

I did not go through verification procedure again and deposited without problem. I think bet365 know if new accounts had verification before and let them skip this step now.
No, that is BIG problem because I've spent years of promoting their website, building my own website, writing content and numerous other stuff for sole reason of "lifetime commision". People have the right to be angry right now because they are treated like ****.

Hi, James! I've sent you an email but got an automatic reply that you are away from the office. I'll be waiting for your reply Thanks!
Maybe it's just a legal obligation has part of their licensing agreement. It's better to give them the opportunity to put this right rather than attack first! Of course if they don't put it right then it's fair game, but lets be honest - they are one of the few online sports-books with a good reputation amongst affiliates!

Well, I have referred 305 Bulgarian players so losing them would be a huge setback. I'm not sure that deleting all existing accounts is a legal requirement because when Betfair took a license 2 years ago they just unblocked the old accounts but the situation was a bit different, not going into details on that. Right now I don't see how the new registrations can be re-tagged but let's wait, at the end bet365 has always been a great and fair partner to me and whatever the bosses decide I wouldn't be bashing it.
I am also from Bulgaria. Yes, Bet365 really closed the accounts of all its players, but this is a respected company with strong reputation which has been built throughout the years, and I am sure they will solve the problem with the partners.
They will find a way to restore their players – by matching e-mail, data from the ID card (they always require it) or something else. Otherwise, it would be a huge scandal and the reputation of Bet365 will just collapse.
Just imagine, most of the markets where Bet365 operates are unlicensed. Which of these partners would invest their time, labour and money in promoting Bet365, if there exists a real risk to end up with zero active players in the statistics because of deletion of all accounts?
I hope and I am convinced that Bet365 will come up with an official statement on the case anytime soon and it will inform and appease its partners about what is going on, the way it has always done it, and the way the respected companies do it.
Hi, I also see that those thing happenes and yesterday i write to affiliate e-mail, hope to recieve answer soon. It's very bad for all affiliates work, because i spend also years in promoting, building websites, late at night people sleep, i work and now i open my stats for today and see very very low figures, my players gone, my work and investition and time, that s bad. I dont know how they will recover, them, the are un active accounts, now people open new accounts with new usernames and how will they recover our affiliate players, that we refer, i don't know?
I hope for recovering players to afiliates from id cards, but i dont know if they can make this and if this is possible.
PP: I want to know how we can take our commissions from previous month and also can we promote now bet365, i see a baners in bulgarian in aff control panel. If there is a manager to explain the situation it will be good.

The fact James Woods from Bet365 has replied to this thread (and thanked Syndicate's post calling for patience) persuades me you will ALL be ok. I'd be panicking in your position right now, but I am sure he has good reasons not to spell out the solution on a forum. It does not help that everyone is in Amsterdam right now - they could have chosen a city with less distractions.

Actually there is a way for matching most of the accounts. You can't match all of them, because people change their payment methods, credit cards, emails, etc.
But there is a way to match at least some of the accounts Which means most of the active ones. Yet, we have nothing to do. We'll keep our fingers crossed and wait. But, boy, if they take a rabbit out of their hat, they have me for life!
Patience, gentlemen. We have nothing else to do

I am a Bulgarian affiliate with 10 years old account, thousands of active members and millions in deposits/turnover. I had a steady income on which my family became really dependent. We were waiting for this license for three years and were really happy to hear the news yesterday. Started working on a new bet365 project right away...
Just to be clear bet365 did not delete accounts as suggested in the title (they would never do that) but blocked the owners, sent all balances back using the method of deposit and asked the owners to reopen the accounts with new usernames. Not a big deal for the users but a huge deal for the affiliates!
Yes - there is a fast way to link most accounts. It is the same method they already used to link previously verified accounts and limited players. Some accounts will be lost I guess but it would be still better than the zero stats we all got today. However this would open new problems - for example what if the second account is already registered through another affiliate...
And yes - the only other international sports-betting company with a license Betfair did not force players to open new accounts.
So we all know bet365 is the best company out there. After all we are the people voting for best affiliate program (bet365 wins every single time) and for our favourite managers like James and Nigel. But still we can not help to be worried of what is happening right now. This could be a disaster for the whole affiliate concept.

I know it is disappointing but let's look it from another angle, bet365 could delete all Bulgarian accounts 3 years ago when the new law came into force and completely giving up with the Bulgarian market as many bookies did. In that case we could blame no one but our regulator that did everything possible to keep any competitors away longer as possible. At least bet365 didn't give up and now we can promote ... something again, it's better than nothing.

I got my refund today. I am almost sure it includes the May commission. Anyone who can tell for sure?
That's the risk in this business when you target some specific country anything can happen. Nearly all bookies have cut countries for one reason or another (or taking steps as requiring new registrations in this case) and it not always depends on the boookie itself. Losing players is part of the game. What I can say is that bet365 didn't do this to rip-off affiliates at all. At the end you see that the same (or even higher) % of new player accounts will be tagged to some aff. account and bet365 benefits nothing. There was a reason to purge all existing accounts for bet365 to stay on the Bulgarian market but it is better not to discuss it in public.
know what is method for get commision
