It's become clear that both sides of Australian politics want to see an end to folks punting online - see below*
Formerly, it was just the Labor Party. Will things go the way of USA, or maybe the more moderate UK? How would you approach the call for public submissions from the Government - to argue the case for regulation, rather than prohibition? I intend to lodge a submission, that gambling should be regulated not murdered.
Of course, if online gambling is done away with, farewell the gambling crazy Australian players - it's being touted that legislation will force credit card companies to return cash to losing gamblers! It will be interesting to see how this unfolds over 2012.
