12 days to go. First bid has been placed. Great chance to own some nice keyword domains. Collectively they bring in 100-200+ visitors a day. Open to buy it now deals if anyone is interested.

These domains look all cool, except for the XYZ TLD. I don't like it at all, but I guess it's just a question of personal taste

Thanks for your comment Casadeapostas. And I am w believer that .com will always be king. I find that domains with strong keywords, traffic and good web development, a solid business can be based around a range of different domain extensions.

Would also like peoples opinions on whether it would be better to keep them and develop a site using the traffic to start it? I mainly focus on domain reselling from BrandingUnited.com, but I am looking at getting into developing gambling affiliate sites.

Well let's face it .... you are not going to sell these for $999, $599 or (probably) even $199.

Does selling this block of 11 domains for $100 to $150 make you any money (after charges and fees). Is it a good payday?
If so continue.

IF not then you could consider affiliation but it's a competitive area and you need to play longer term than a couple of weeks.
You need to spend time developing content and finding a layout for your sites.

If you have the skills then site development and affiliation is probably a better payback than flipping generic domains.

I appreciate your input, thank you for your honest and up front assessment. I am leaning towards developing the sites and building an affiliate income. I know it's a long play, but I think some of these domains & the traffic may be better suited towards that.

Site development is the way to go, even if you build a simple site and list of Flippa.

I quite like your StrategicGambling.com domain and it could make for an interesting website.

Let's face it, the .xyz domain is fairly horrible, no-one really uses it so the only value in it would be if you build it up yourself and build some brand
value out of one of them.

I'd rather build a brandable .com , .co.uk (or other country TLD) than one of these .xyz or other such Domain extensions. There's a trust issue with domains like that, I generally feel the public don't like them.

I know what you mean but in the end they will click if you rank. Doesn't matter .com or .xyz ... maybe there is a minimal percentage which means that is something strange but again, they will click on a xyz in the same way as a .net

Btw Google trusts them too with his own abc.xyz ...

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and inputs. The .xyz extension is definitely less preferred than .com but with the right development can rank and I think do well in the long term.

.xyz can rank exactly the same as .com, .net, .info, .online, .casino or any other non-country-specific TLD, excluding .co, .fm and some others that are treated as generic TLDs as well.

But you can't persuade people it will rank. Especially the domainers. They only want .com.

So the only scenario in which you can make money from a .xyz domain is to develop it yourself and prove it can rank, and then either sell the website (buyers will still complain it's not a .com) or keep it and make money.
